Phoenix was pretty clean when I lived out there from 98-04. Never saw any homeless people out there back then, not that I remember.

I live here now and it isnt filthy,nor does it have garbage bags all over either. Yes,there are some homeless,but the police patrol to keep any waste removed,sich as empty food containers,etc.

Odd. I live in Phoenix,and I dont believe it is filthy here as you say it is. San has the ocean to bring in fresh air and Phoenix is in the desert. We have only the desert which shifts sand and dust. It's not right to add in Phoenix because most of our problems are from nature,whereas the other cities' rankings are from man made problems. Also,I have never seen big black bags of garbage all over the place like it was when I lived in NY and they had a garbage strike, And you have only mentioned the homeless in Phoenix. NY has a massive amount of homelessness. Why didnt you mention that? They are even fighting with the police. Our parks arent as bad as you say either.

This is a poorly researched video. For example, they don't mention that the main reason the Los Angeles basin has bad air quality is due to the geography. It's the mountain ranges around the basin that trap the air pollution. They also don't say how much the air quality has improved over the years due to many environmentally friendly initiatives. For example, California produces 30% of its electrical power from wind and solar. The data provided on this video is marginally accurate, but also without meaningful context. I give it a D+.
