Its heyday lasted longer than that, since they had the two "Suite Life" shows, "Hannah Montana," and "Wizards of Waverly Place" as big hits in the mid to late '00's. However, once "Wizards" ended, then there wasn't much left to watch aside from the animated "Phineas and Ferb," although I did find "Jessie" and "Girl Meets World" to be at least decent shows.
