However, Disney is good at surprising us with reusing various animatronics when a ride is re-themed. I'm seriously praying that they update the 'Carousel of Progress' soon. It's getting to the stage now where if they don't do anything soon, the animatronics may be damaged permanently. (In my opinion anyways). There's only so many times you can repair something to last a short while before it breaks again. I love the carousel of progress and it's beyond sad to see it in such a 'damaged' state. (I say damaged as it isn't damaged as such, but the animatronics and the scenes on a whole have needed an overhaul for at least the past 15-20 years). PLEASE DISNEY FIX THE CAROUSEL OF PROGRESS!

ST 19 I agree! They’re so glitchy now (I’ve seen videos where John is saying the words but the animatronic itself is shaking profusely). It’s things like that which need to be updated. A-100 figures would be a good idea as it may give them more fluidity. (Which they desperately need right now). And currently I doubt it’ll get an update. Due to COVID-19 a lot of projects have been stopped or outright cancelled for the foreseeable, but who knows. Things can change.

Something I've noice regarding the hopping Br'er Rabbit animatronic when watching this is that there used to be bushes to cover up the mechanic arm that's holding him in the 90's. I don't know why they got ride of them in later years because it's so easy to get distracted by that arm.

I don’t have a recording of it, sadly…..but my experience of broken animatronics on a Disney ride was actually back on Splash Mountain where all the animatronics froze and stopped working in the finale room after the big drop with the ship. Nothing was moving, but you can still here the audio music and singing. It was creepy!

i think wheezy must've gotten overheated from being outdoors in florida, he was broken for like a whole year where his mouth and eyes were the only thing moving, then it seems after they finally fixed him for like a month he just stopped working entirely... last time i rode splash mountain [mid august] none of the animatronics in the room right before the drop into the bee room were working at all, then i rode it a few days later and some of them were working but a lot of them still weren't, then a few days later i saw a video on tiktok where none of them were working again :/

When you see something that isn’t working you should always mention a malfunction. Especially if it is on a fast ride like Test Track. We were riding Test Track and it didn’t feel right. We came to the section where you stop fast and I smelled burning brakes. We knew something was wrong. When we exited, I told the young woman there was something wrong & explained. She said “oh, it’s probably just an added smell just for the experience.” I said with a very serious expression on my face “ I have ridden this ride many, many times. There has never been any smell like that before. There is something ring with that car and it needs to be taken off.” We rode the ride again and when we got on, there was our previous car, pulled off to the side with 4 people working on it. This is a safety issue. Broken animatronics are annoying or funny but broken rides are a safety issue. Please report anything unusual.

Anamatronics are fine. Unless they are smoking, burning, or leaking fluid, something like whats in this video is okay. With something like a weird smell or a broken prop, I can understand your concern.

The first time I ever went to Disney World something went really wrong with the "It's a Small World Ride" All of the boats stopped in one of the rooms towards the end and the lights/music kept going out, coming back on, and going out again. This went on for 45 minutes. It was funny but also terrifying. You're in a dark room with hundreds of dolls staring at you.
