To me, Elektra being all nice and spunky in this movie makes sense. We meet her before her dad dies. In the comics she didn't go to the dark side until after her dad died. And in the movie, she did get darker after her dad was murdered.

It's nice to hear that someone else actually liked this movie. I enjoyed it, albeit I probably wouldn't have as much if I had read the comics. This is pretty much a repeat for me where I'm late to the party for this sort of thing, especially since there's a LOT of continuity now, but anyway. Awesome as usual, ERod.

DareDevil, a Blind Man That Can SEE! WHOA!! Though hearing you talk about it, it sounds a LOT better than what this movie showed. Especially with the whole, he's a blind guy, so no one would ever think it's him. That's way cool.

Good points. Have you seen the Director's Cut of the movie? It's actually expands on the story quite a bit, and you even get a cameo from Kevin Smith. On your points however were right on, especially Jennifer Garner's casting. I think Karen Page would've been a better character for her to play.

I definitely agree with you on many points. I am one of those who hate this movies, but I agree that Micheal Clark Duncan and Colin Farrell stole the show with their characters, and the Daredevil costume was very well done, but I can't get over the casting choices for the Daredevil and Electra. That along with the really goofy moments brought the film down for me, being that Daredevil is my all time favorite comic. Also what bummed me out is the lack of Stick as his mentor.

If I had my way, I would change daredevil into a free runner as a kid and use the story Frank Miller's Story as an orgin story for Daredevil. Its the first series of comics I got that made me love Daredevil.

ERod, did you know that Daredevil and Elektra actually go way back - all the way to college, where Matt was studying to be a lawyer? Elektra was Matt's old flame. Years later, of course, they meet when Elektra is now a full-fledged assassin, and Matt is a lawyer and Daredevil. And I'm not kidding - that's actually in the comics.

I agree about #5. What worked my nerves about it though, he throws the billy club...from at least a hundred feet away! Inhuman accuracy is one thing, but yhe velocity that thing had to be traveling at is insane. To say nothing of the fact that as a blunt object, it'd start slowing down the second Bullseye releases it, it wouldn't fly straight or fast! The worst thing, Elektra saw the end of the attempt, Daredevil's back is to her and her father the entire time! How could he do the kill?

You should. It's one of the best movies of 2012. But they do minimize what we Canadians did during that time. But otherwise, Ben Afleck has redeemed himself to a whole new level.
