One of my favourite scenes is Leighton coming out to Kimberley in the sex lives of college girls. Not necessarily because of Leighton coming out, but more because of what she says afterwards and just how much it crushes my soul to pieces. ‘I don’t want to be like this, Kimberley, it’s terrifying. Just like in the the movies, my daughter found a flyer on my desk for a gay dads group. She read the purpose of the group and repeated a sentence on the flyer in question form, "Are you trying to build a circle of gay relations?" Yes, little girl, daddy's gay. That was 30 year ago and the whole family is still as tight as ever, with three dad's (mom and I each have wonderful husbands.)

Patrick coming out to his parents on Schitt’s Creek wasn’t the most emotional individual scene because Mr. Rose accidentally told them earlier in the episodes, but there were some emotional moments, like Patrick’s fear of how his parents would react and his parents wondering if they’d done something wrong to make him feel like he couldn’t tell them.

I'm sorry but it's only English or American series so very subjective. There are many coming out scenes in shows around the world that are much more intense and emotional than this one. They have to open up to the world. I advise you to see the coming out scenes of Lucas in Skam France or Jack in Tomorrow belongs to us, you will see what real emotion is.
