EDIT: This has suddenly gotten traction out of nowhere 😂 but I realized after I uploaded this video that I put “(Cup Series)” in the beginning. That was an accident and it is for all three national series. EDIT 2: If anyone has anyone suggestions for top 10 nascar videos or iconic first starts, comment below!

McMurrays Daytona 500 win was special man. Thought near the end of 2009 that he might be out of a Cup ride so for him to win that 500 was really something. Miss ya JMac

Another one that needs to be on here is, Dale Jarret at Michigan in 1991, for his 1st career win with his dad, Ned in the booth. Absolutely AMAZING battle with Davey Allison. One of the best and most emotional wins in Cup history! Ned looked like he was about to cry. If you havent seen it, please watch it. You WONT be disappointed. Trust me.

The Steve park win at Rockingham was pretty emotional, same with Jr and the Wrangler #3 at Daytona (Tony Jr)

Park winning at The Rock was exactly what DEI and NASCAR as a whole needed that day.

It wasn’t the most emotional win but I think Bill Elliott getting back to victory lane in that red dodge 9 was massive for the sport and legacy. I cried like a baby I watched him struggle thru all the 90s and to see him get to victory lane was huge. He was one of the fastest drivers in 2003 and I was so bummed he retired. I’d definitely put his wins late in his career ahead of a few of these wins on this list.

1 and 2 are the only options they could've been, honestly. I was a DIE-HARD Jeff Gordon fan back then, but that day Harvick nipped him at the line in Atlanta, even I was happy to see my boy finish second.

Martin Truex Jr out drove his career of bad luck that day.

Kyle Busch's 2015 championship (missed the 1st 11 races because of a broken leg and foot from a crash at Daytona) Dale Earnhardt's 1994 championship (7th championship tying Richard Petty and losing his best friend Neil Bonnett in a practice crash for the Daytona 500) Dale Earnhardt's 1998 Daytona 500 win (most starts without winning the 500 (19) Trevor Bayne's 2011 Daytona 500 win (20 years old, still the youngest to ever win it) Tony Stewart's 2016 Sonoma win (last career win in his last season) Jimmie Johnson's 2016 championship (7th championship tying Dale Earnhardt and Richard Petty) Michael Waltrip's 2001 Daytona 500 win (losing Dale Earnhardt) Kurt Busch's 2022 Kansas win (last career win that shocked us) Austin Dillon's 2018 Daytona 500 win (20 years after Dale Earnhardt brought the #3 to victory lane in the 500)
