one thing i thought would've been on here is when steven talks to his mother's statue at the fountain and when he truly think's it's all over for him and amethyst. One line that really sticks out to me was when he says that everybody else seems to know how to feel about her, except him. and also the episodes in the Sardonyx episodes when Garnet discovers what Pearl did and Ruby and Sapphire's fight at the diner really solidify them as characters with their own emotional problems more so than their first appearance on Peridot's ship, just my opinion though

technically speaking, Greg donated 23 of his chromosome, but since Rose wasn't human, she couldn't provide the other 23 to finalized the creation of Steven. So she sacrificed herself to provide the part the mother would usually input to reach the 46 chromes. So it makes sense that she is half of him. Since in real life half of you is your dad, and the other half from your mom. So in a sense, Steven isn't his mother. He just has her abilities.

Great list, but there's one thing that I dislike. In An Indirect Kiss, I feel like Steven and Connie almost kissing was not the emotional part of the episode. The two scenes I found much more sad were 1. When Amethyst almost dies due to her gem being cracked. Just seeing her get closer and closer to death each minute was enough to almost make me cry. 2. Steven at Rose's fountain. Just... so much is sad about this. Especially Steven stating that everyone else knows how to feel about her, except for him and he wishes that he could have met her. Other than that, great list.

Theres is no exact date, but the producers, the network and Crewnverse announced this, so this is true. Also the last bomb in January was the last episodes of Season 2. On The Run definitely deserves to be number one. My heart almost broke when Amethyst broke down and told Pearl that she wasn't going to let her remind her of everything she hates about herself and how she never asked to be made. That was such an intense moment. Rose's Scabbard was definitely an emotional episode, too. Another one that I wish was on the list was Keystone Motel. When Sapphire and Ruby were fighting at the diner and Steven walked out and told them how everything was feeling awful and he wondered if it was his fault. Not to mention, Sapphire's breakdown in that episode. I love your list, though!

Man, I can't quite remember too well, but I may have cried with Amethyst when she said that she never asked to be made (the very first time I saw the episode that is), especially because I pretty much feel the same way, pretty insecure of myself, feeling hurt, and just flat-out feeling like she doesn't belong anywhere. Of course, I know that's not the case for Amethyst, 'cause I know she belongs with the Crystal Gems. It often takes me a while for me to quit thinking that way about myself, even if that ends up lasting for a temporary amount of time before I start thinking (more) negatively about myself again.

Every time Steven starts beating himself up over things that aren’t his fault just hurts my heart. So many things have happened that he’s had to be involved in and it’s done a number on his mental health. One of my favorites is Mindful Education. When Connie and Steven are falling and Steven is crying, that almost made me cry. And this is coming from someone who needs to really really really deeply resonate with something to cry.

Personally the scenes where Peridot became a Crystal Gem in that one episode, and Steven crying over things that had happened while he fell with Connie in Mindful Education made me cry the most,. When Peri became a Crystal Gem I literally had to go to the bathrooom due to tears of joy, and when ever I watch Mindful Education I /still/ cry at that one scene. I do view fusion with sexual undertone but that moment was nothing like rape. Lapis consented if anything Lapis used Jasper. However at that time both Jasper and Lapis were homeworld gems, they only viewed fusion as a trick to get stronger and it was only for one use and thats it, they never knew there would be an emotional connection. I don't view that scene as emotional in the slightest, I just liked it because we saw a new fusion and Lapis turned sides.

Jasper did sexually assault Lapis (if we're going by the sexual undertone) because you can consent but then regret it later, or you consent because something personal is at stake (which would be considered forced consent)

Storm in the Room, Lars' head, Mr. Greg, and Bismuth hit home pretty well. But nothing compares to Greg fusing with Rose. It's just... The discussion of how they'll work. It's something that proves communication and being open will keep a relationship strong. Pearl ends up disappointed she can't have Rose anymore, and the other gems seemed glad to see it.

I liked the scene from Future Vision when Steven's on the roof and Garnet just wants him to get to know her, and the fear of the unknown is a legit thing that alot, if everyone goes through.
