Hot dogs are compiled of MINIMALLY: chicken, beef AND/OR pork. It says it RIGHT on the packaging. Unless you pay double and get ALL beef hot dogs. So even the processing manufacturers don't know what's in them. Ground beef however is all cow product... Beef. McDonald's will use fillers to hold the meat together but it is FAR from not knowing what the burgers contain. So, no. No irony. Just a stupid comment about how it's irony > _ >

If you actually saw and knew what was in ANY processed meat, you either have iron guts like me or would become a tofu chlorophyll-ivor. If you want to get a master class education, come to Germany and do a little work at a German butcher. NOBODY ON EARTH produces more types of sausages. Yes a hot dog is a sausage. So is salami and any other geometricly perfect meat in a deli. If you only knew. I still eat sausage, but it is slaughtered, and produced by my neighbor the master butcher. I know it's good stuff. Well...as good as sausage can possibly be anyways. You do know it is made from all the leftover scraps and parts after the muscle meat is cut out. Nutrition is a whole other ball game. It still tastes good though.

I was in America back in 1996 when it was rolled out all across McDonald's Restaurants nationwide and it was never released in the UK where I am from originally. I ate several of them. Yup, McSpaghetti is still available here in the Philippines! Actually, it became a better one now. It has more sauce and the sweet taste really improved. Here in our country, the Spaghetti is in Filipino style, which means the sauce used for the pasta is sweet. I think that's why McSpaghetti is still alive and popular here in the Philippines, because it really matches our preferred taste. ^^ (I'm sorry for my English, I'm not really confident on it but I tried my best to share this one to all of you)

I must have been strange, I was really fond of the McDLT. It was all I ordered at McDonalds during my High School and early college years (it was actually around quite awhile, came out about 1985 and ran through the early 1990's). In fact, since they did away with it, I really haven't eaten at McDonalds more than a handful of times, last one being like five years ago.

the biggest mcfail i experienced was a regular menu item gone wrong. i ordered a filet 'o fish one time, and when i took a bite, there were 3 chicken nuggets in the burger instead of the fish.... 3...... 3 nuggets, nobody accidentally puts 3 nuggets in a fish burger, they had 2 extra hand movements to think about what they were doing, that shit was done intentionally.

i did also, but people are right though if you could have them tossed in buffalo bbq or whatever that would have made a huge difference than plain fried chicken, the chicken itself was good quality too. but yeah I've got to give respect for mc d's because i don't know any other fast food chains that sell wings, i think kfc did for a little while, and i live right next to a sheets gas station that has a fast food menu with wings that are pretty good but i don't think they have them anymore either. in reality though screw the fast food places i'll just get the traditional hot wings from pizza hut and be happy, we have a ginos that has wings but they look/taste like they came out of a Chinese slaughterhouse.

That meat on the bagel is very similar to what was on the steak sandwich but i think the sandwich was a little better quality plus it had sauteed onions and steak sauce. I think it was one of the best sandwiches they ever had, but like the video said it was double the price of other menu items so that would be like a $10 sandwich today. No one could afford it

I was working at McD's when the McDLT debuted. We all tried it on the day it was introduced and figured it tasted like a Whopper. It was the first McD's burger with lettuce and tomatoes so it was actually groundbreaking for them. Hard to believe.. add lettuce and tomatoes to a burger and it's a new thing when every other burger joint was already doing it for decades.

It's not peanut oil. Importantly, they originally used shortening that included lard (sort of like cheap Crisco). That's why those fries were so good. Went from best to worst, and they couldn't care less.

McDonald's in Japan still had McHotDogs when I was there in 2015, and they were on the breakfast menu! The best thing I ever had at McDonald's in Japan, though, was a limited-time special back in the spring of 2006: the Sweet Chili Ebi Filet-O. It was a fried, breaded shrimp patty on a bun, with a sweet, spicy chili sauce. SO GOOD! We never got this back home in California, though the sweet chili sauce did eventually become available (for McNuggets etc.) for a while.

I worked at McDonald's when the McDLT was an option. The beef patty was bigger than anything else, so you couldn't cook it with anything else, the tomato was a pain in the butt because you either had to cut massive tomatoes or try to keep two slices on the thing, we had to have a whole section for the boxes which didn't fit with others and back then we'd often make several burgers and keep them in a warmer for up to 10 minutes, but you couldn't do that with an "L-T" as we called them. Even at the peak times, lunch, supper or when a bus pulled in, we had to make every one as it was ordered. Everything else could be made ahead, unless it was a special order. If you knew a birthday party was coming, you could make a half-dozen cheeseburgers, some chicken nuggets and a couple quarter pounders before or as the kids arrived, but we couldn't make L-T's up ahead at any time. There was nothing positive about those things from our side of the counter. Nobody cried when that burger died.

If the McDLT was such a supposed flop why'd they keep selling it up until they stopped using Styrofoam? I loved the McDLT, I ordered it every time I went to McDonald's, and I never seen any indication that it was a flop. It seemed more likely that it was simply their choice to be more, "green," by stopping their use of Styrofoam that ended the McDLT and not the burger itself being a flop, but maybe that was just my region, I see a lot of others ordering it, not just myself, again this was all the way up until McDonald's stopped using Styrofoam to be more environmentally friendly in the 80s.

@@VNYLDEN Totally agree. The Mcdlt was a victim of the times, due to the backlash against styrofoam in the late 80's, early 90's. With bio-degradable styrofoam now becoming more readily available, bringing it back can't be completely out of the question. The Arch Deluxe was a massive flop.
