So Rowanstar he's just an oof. He wasn't the best leader, but Shadowclan is at fault too. They blame Rowanstar for Darktail's uprising, when they were the ones who joined him & gave him more power, the only Shadowclan cats I can remember who tried to escape were Dawnpelt, Needletail, Violetshine & any cat who didn't drown (which didn't happen often). Rowanstar's death was noble & a bit redeeming considering he saved innocent children. I'm also bothered by this because they have no problem with Tigerheart, but when Tawnypelt is deputy, no one in Shadowclan will follow her orders unless Tigerheart tells them too. The cats in Shadowclan do this because Tawnypelt was Rowanstar's mate & stayed loyal to him, they don't like her because she loved someone they drove out & stayed loyal to him (This isn't wild speculation either, this is stated in Tawnypelt's Clan).

In leafstar’s defence (this is at the time of skyclan’s destiny) : at the time she had only recently become leader so she was very inexperienced. She could only rely on the bits of the warrior code Firestar and Sandstorm had told her about. Maybe she thought that deputies should have such authority. It’s not her fault Sharpclaw is an ambitious jerk.She had the right to disapprove of sharp claws training sessions. The needs of the clan should be put first. Not the needs of a group of rouges she had just met. :/ I like Leafstar and respect her as a leader. She’s trying her best 😔 stop bullying her #saveleafstar

@@hearts4av I literally had like the same idea. Sleekwhisker and Sol just disappeared, so there’s plenty of room for come back. I never really had a prophecy though. After the broken code series, I thought maybe Darktail would try and lead them and fail. I’d like that every clan is overthrown except Shadowclan, leaders killed. That way we have a new lineup of fun leaders and hopefully something will happen with Riverclan. We have a starless clan coming up, so we can see more of riverclan at least and I think reedwhisker is the current deputy? Sorry this long!!!!

We never see the body of scourge after he is “killed”. What if instead, he was picked up by twolegs and turned into the ultimate cyborg cat. Then he teams up with sleekwhisker and sol and take over the lake except Shadowclan. So then we get our new leader lineup.

Fireheart was brought into the clan to renew it and Darkstripe didn't want the clan/his life to change and he thought it was better as it was; which is why he sided with his old buddy Tigerclaw.

I genuinely like Darkstripe. I like how he balances the scales in the first series between cats on the morally ambiguous side, like Longtail and Dustpelt, and I liked how the Thunderclan community felt like an actual community with friends and rivals and secrets because of cats like Darkstripe and Tigerstar. Nowadays it's undeniable that, while various Thunderclan cats may be stupid jerks for no reason, they will always end up fighting side by side. Which is just boring.

Interesting topic for a video. Before watching, I think that failure should not be limited to bad cats. For example, cats like Yellowfang, Tallstar, Bluestar, Firestar, and Midnight the badger all failed in some way, but those failures helped them grow as characters. They still had some big failures in their lives that pretty much defines a few of their characters, but they still found out how to live above, or even just live aside their failures.

That Stick thing with his daughter reminds me of something that happened in a roleplay once that included my ocs. Dawnleaf, who was deputy of a Clan called HopeClan, wanted to kill Petalleaf, the medicine cat of HopeClan, but Dawnleaf's own daughter, Redkit, interfered. Redkit got in the way which caused Dawnleaf to kill her. Dawnleaf was shocked by what he had done and Petalleaf was filled with disbelief that Dawnleaf just killed Redkit. The death of Redkit was also caused by this loner, who had joined HopeClan, named Sparrow. Dawnleaf got upset with Sparrow so he killed him which caused Redkit to be shocked. Redkit is also the daughter of a evil rogue who Dawnleaf had to kill also. So that's why this Stick cat reminds me of Dawnleaf and Redkit's death.

No, I love her too, she is fantastic. I think her struggles were pretty clear-she wasn't a warrior and just learned about everything in a few months and was left alone on ice. She tried her best to create a strong clan and sometimes just didn't know what to do. That doesn't mean she is weak... Note: I didn't read Hawkwing's superedition, only Skyclan one

Yeah, I don't get it either. Everything turned out alright in skyclan's destiny, in the end, and her deputy and her resolved their conflicts, so why is Akira complaining? who else was super disappointed Lionblaze didn't take on the wild dog pack in Sunrise? Cause they made it sound so epic. 1:59 personally, I think that Tigerstar should have been killed by Brambleclaw. Firestar could have been injured badly in the battle with Tigerstar, and Brambleclaw could have stepped in and killed Tigerstar, proving to himself and everyone else that he wasn’t like his father. Firestar would probably die the same way, from injuries.

3:45 i'm rereading omen of the stars and dovewing also warned the clan of the tree that fell into the thunderclan camp. it hit the elders den and blocked the medicine den. she saved mousefur and purdy, and longtail would have been fine if he hadn't gone back. i forget if jayfeather was in his den, and even if he was, it's a cave right? he could've been fine.

Another failure of a cat was Bone. Bone joined forces with Scourge because he believed Scourge could give him more bloodshed and all dat stuff, but he got killed by apprentices. (what a failure xd)

If I remember correctly Akira, Darkstripe had a fear of being alone and forgotten and never actually followed Tigerstar out of desire to truly be like him. I believe he was misguided and manipulated, due to his fears. In one of the earlier books, whichever one Silverstream dies in (sorry, it’s been a while since I’ve read the earlier books), I believe he actually shows Graystripe some brotherly emotion. It’s very little and easy to miss, but if I remember correctly Darkstripe actually laid his tail-tip on Graystripe’s shoulder in a showing of sympathy.
