Welcome back my friend, we missed you! Great timing with fall season starting now. Fall is a great season. On warm days you can use summer fragrances. On cold days winter fragrances. I don't have many fragrances that I would categorise as "best in Fall" but the few I have are amazing and real stand-outs. They usually go well with rainy weather like you would have in fall. The two that instantly come to mind are Xerjoff 40 Knots or Initio Rehab. Probably also YSL La Nuit de L'Homme and Kilians Apple Brandy on the Rocks, but I feel they fit well with fall but weren't designed with fall in mind unlike the first 2. Out of the fragrances you've talked about I only know Xerjoff Naxos and I think thats another one that perfectly fits Fall. Yes it's also great in winter but to me its another one designed with fall in mind. If the others from your list are like that I really have to try them!

Hey my friend , great to be back and hear from you . I love this transition phase with the sun still out and the leaves fall down. A great season to celebrate citrusy fresh fragrances as much as deep woody and sweeter fragrances 😊 Xerjoff 40 knots is a banger that I can see working fantastic on a warmer autumn day and rehab I never tried but it’s close to spicebomb I heard. I’m thinking of getting 1899 by Historie de Parfums instead of rehab because it’s a bit cheaper and more sophisticated. You should really give some of my choices a try , especially costume national Homme is quiet close to rehab in the way that it’s dry spicy and masculine 😊 enjoy your weekend my friend 🫶

Since the weather has been cooling down. Been appreciating bentley for men absolute a lot especially the dry down. Silky woods elixir I wore today got some compliments. Tom ford oud minerale i wear when going out more often - great performance and smell. Also been using orientica royal bleu a lot (layton clone but a good one).

The drydown of costume national Homme sometimes reminds me a lot of Bentley for men but more of the intense version. Silky woods is a great choice for this time of the year even if I haven’t tried the elixir yet. Oud Minerale is a beautiful creative fragrance with a lot of depths I really enjoy it everytime I try it 😊🫶

Just tried it on again CNi and have to agree with your layton exclusif analogy. That animalic note in layton exclusif and this bright leather note are quite similar.

Hi. I recently got Costume National Paperplane (soft/unisex) and Free d'Homme, both gorgeous fragrances. As for the Intense (Guerlain), you're right, it is not intense. Maybe it's because of the red chillipepper which makes it spicy. Another from Guerlain I can recommend is Habit Rouge Parfum (damned nice cooler weather fragrance) with very good longevity/performance. 😉

Costume national is a great house that is right between designer and niche and their offerings are amazing , creative and high quality. And I think you’re right with the l’intense but I just think the name is a bit confusing 😁 habit rouge I want to try for a long time and surely will try this fall winter season 🫶

You have very good tastes. I wish I would not have so many things to pay and up my current collection with 10 to 20 excellent bottles like Houbigant Ambre des abysses or SMW. My current preferred one is Terre d'Hermes EDP. The flint note is not there. I think it's much better.

I don’t know , no one talks about CDG in general . I would say it’s the most underrated designer house. Creative and unique fragrances that you can rock everyday 😊🫶

I noticed you recommended Fig Noir in a few vids. I’m not sure really what fig smells like in a fragrance. Could you compare this one to any others that might help understand?

It’s a fruity earthy spicy and woody kind of feeling .This fragrance is different than other fig fragrances. Most of them are creamy , sweetly and a bit milky . This one is a bit fruity but mostly woody and spicy and just so gorgeous and masculine . It’s just something gig have to try for yourself 😉🫶

Yeah I have and I really enjoy that one too. There is just something about the original that I enjoy more . It’s more airy and spicy and has as good performance as the Parfum 😊

@@50scents_ i have some decant of parfum, tested it just a lil bit but havent wore it as weather is not yet cold enough..but i like the smell a lot..would you say that buying a decant od edp version is not redundant?

@@gendale9992 I would say that maybe you like the EdP even more because I think it’s more versatile. I wouldn’t say it’s redundant even tho they share a similar dna , that way you can see which one you prefer on your skin before buying a bottle :)
