Hello Julia, great idea you had to share your favorites fragrances by season, I also wear different perfumes depending of time of the year. My winter favorites are the original Angel, but at least 2 hours after sprayed... I appreciate Dior addict, very vanilla and hot , not appropriate for work for me. Ultraviolet by Paco Rabanne is also deep winterly adapted . One oldie is Amarige by Givenchy, it will be my personal gift to me next Christmas.As I m getting older, I look at some less "commercials" and more niche, want to try Couvent des Minimes, and the Dyptique ones . Serge Lutens fleur d oranger is a must for spring for me thanks for your descriptions and thoughts :-)

@@juliagraf you have to try Diamant from Fragonard it's my favorite ever - this is the description from their website: Bursting with dazzling mystery, DIAMANT leaves a luminous trail of desire behind all those who wear it. Diamant is a sweet-oriental, with mandarin, orange and pepper as top notes, balanced by rose, jasmine and plum as middle notes, on a background of vanilla, patchouli, musc and caramel.

That is so well said! - to go to the other side of the shop and smell ,mens' perfume if you are woman. I love incence, heavy, masculin scents. Flowers doesn't suit me...

It's not a revolutionary concept, I've been doing this all my life. Half my fragrances are women's perfumes. But it's great that an influencer brings it up. Jeremy Fragrance has done some videos on this on his channel, check it out.

I generally don't recommend blind buying if you can at all avoid it, but if I have to pick the "safest" ones from my list, I'd say Black Opium, Un Bois Vanille, and maybe Samsara (but you must enjoy Floral Orientals for it.)

There are websites that sell perfume samples and decants, maybe that's an alternative if you don't have a good store near you, to try a small size.

Love love love your fragrance videos. I previously commented that the old Samsara was stronger than the current one, and I actually asked the clerk at the guerlain boutique near me in Paris who told me that there were some reformulerions to avoid allergies in clients. Nevertheless I still love it. I also discovered Mojave Ghost, a fruity sandalwood scent which is beautiful ! I would love your opinion on it! It allows you to wear that lovely rich sandalwood scent in the summer because of the fresh fruity flowery notes in there.

I will have to try it next time! I haven't been a huge fan of the Byredo scents though, they are all a bit too "light" for me... but maybe I need to give it another try.

I understand what you mean. They are less light than they seem. They have a great sillage despite being light which apparently in perfumery is a great deal. I don’t know if based on your tastes (orientals) Mojave Ghost will be good for you but if you like sandalwood it’s one of the best. I also like this is her by zadig et Voltaire and black diamond by Versace for sandalwood heart notes.
