how does it work?

@@monniecurry9810 it basically selects 2 players or itself and 1 other player each night to give a card to it can make the players it gives the cards to eachother. The fighter with the stronger role wins and kills the other player. Werewolves will always wins against villagers and solo voters. Solo killers will always win against non solo killers. If a gladiator fights the gladiator ALWAYS WINS. If 2 gladiators fight. It’s random. Same thing if 2 players with the same role fight. If one of the 2 players you’ve selected is protected or killed the other one will still have their card. You can choose to not have the players you’ve selected not fight or to have them all fight at once.

i thought of this role recently and i want someones opinion so here it is teacher aura: unknown team: village win condition: village win random: random strong villager replaces: jailer twice per game you can select someone at day to teach them to be better at their role. they cannot use the role that night but after that they can do all things double example: when the teacher teaches seer, the seer can't check for that night but can check 2 players after. example 2: the teacher teaches the arsonist. the arsonist can then douse 3 players per night. example 3: the teacher teaches an wolf. the wolf now has an extra vote during the night/can check 2 players during the night. whever the teacher gets killed during teaching the player getting teached will still get their abilty doubled. pros: -you can make an informer more valuable -you will be able to prove yourself by saying: i will teach (players number) cons: -you can make killers more dangerous -you have an unknown aura making it easy to claim as killer or as alpha wolf idk if it is balanced but can be very cool in my opinion

Im having trouble making and balancing a role that I was thinking about... it would be the Eavesdropper Team : Village Ability: each day you select someone to eavesdropp on. On the following Night you see the person selecting another, for example, if you decide to eavesdropp on a werewolve, you'll see the player, without seeing their role, selecting the current most voted victim. If you eavesdrop the body guard, you'll see them selecting someone to protect, but you won't know any of their roles. if you eavesdropp someone like the head-hunter or the gunner, nothing will happen, but you'll know that they're are not a killer. what I'm having an issue is to deciding wether the Eavesdropper should replace the Aura Seer, or the Red Lady, since I would consider it less powerful then the Aura Seer. And wether it would be good or unknown. Can anyone help me out/criticize?

this is a crazy idea: Name: werewolf gunner Aura: evil Team: werewolves He is a normal werewolf but when the vigilant/gunner dies, the night after the death the werewolf will search in the woods the gun they dropped when they died (so he can not vote). The successive day he will have a gun that he can use against each others (the gun can only shot once). The role will not appear when the werewolf gunner shots. Im sorry for the bad english im Italian

I think this role would be cooler if the wolf gunner revealed themselves upon shooting. In that case, the role gets way more tactical if you get what I mean.

Im late but heres a role i guess Name: Wolf virus Replaces: shaman/alpha/shadow/berserk Team: Werewolves Ability (1x) : During the day you can activate an ability called *chaos disguise* when activated, the night after you activated the ability will disguise everyone as *Wolf virus* basically if an aura, seer, det, spirit seer, rl ect. checks one or more of the disguised player/s it would appear as *Wolf virus* Your werewolves teamates will NOT be wolf virus to balance this role!

@@hypostein I changed everything about the role but the name, team and replaces since it was unoriginal Aura: Unknown During the night you can select a player if that player dies the role will be invisible | the selected player will be checked as a random werewolf thats alive and in game for a 2 nights If you select your wolf partners/team then they will appear as a villager role thats alive and in game to informers.

The latest role update in game sucks. I find that players are heavily relying win on info in both village and ww sides. Changing the appearance to informers as trickerstar wolf is already against the principle of the game.

I have four roles I thought would be good since solo killers don't have much advance roles Sniper Aura: Unknown Team: Solo Each night, you can select any target that you will kill. The targeted person will die at the end of the voting phase. If that person was voted by someone (e.g. one or two persons), the bullet will pierce and kill them (If your target was voted by many but not lynched, only one random voter will die). However, if your target will be lynched, they will be saved (Your target don't know if they are being targeted). If a werewolf tries to kill you, the weakest werewolf will die. You win if you are the last player alive. Deathwish Aura: Unknown Team: Solo Each night, you can guess if a person will die by any other means. Each correct guess will give you one wish to kill someone at night. If that person is still not dead, the guess will remain until he dies. You cannot guess those people you wished to be killed. If some of your guessed people died at the same time (e.g. 2 or 3 persons killed), you gain the given wishes. You only have a maximum of 5 guesses. You cannot guess if 5 of your guessed people is still alive. Werewolves cannot kill you. You win if you are the last player alive. Mimicry Aura: Unknown Team: Solo Every night, you can select random person to copy their role. Seers will appear to be the role you have copied. The person will be notified if someone was mimicking them. The person that was mimicked will die the next night. If that person used an ability, they will die. If the person died before the night, mimicry can kill someone that night and no longer impersonating that person. If you copied a werewolf or solo killer, they will die immediately, but you can't mimick the next night and your aura will be set as evil. If you win as the role you have impersonated (e.g. Fool, Instigator, Headhunter), the win will count as mimicry's win. The mimicry can choose if they want to keep the role, in return they cannot kill. Werewolves cannot kill you. You win if you are the last person alive or you win as the role you impersonated. Party Planner Aura: Unknown Team: Solo At night, you can invite 3 people to your party. If they declined, you can choose to kill one of them, but if they accepted, they will be protected. If they joined the party, you can choose to kill everyone in your party and those who declined will not be killed. If they didn't choose to accept/decline, they will automatically die. Players at the party cannot kill and protect that night, but they can talk to each other as well as the party planner. Werewolves cannot kill you. You win if you are the last player alive.

@@Jc_Arts789 Oh ok, so now it’s more different but this time I guess, it’s now a little unbalanced with the other advanced roles of mayor. For example if we look at doctor’s advanced roles, night watchman has 3 protection, only one of them can be used per night, butcher has 6 protections, he can use even all of them at the same night, it’s much more flexible. BUT, nightwm has the ability of seeing which players are protected; so these two roles are balanced. But look at the mayor’s advanced roles, Preacher for example, can have 3 extra votes but for this, he has to guess the deaths But cheerleader is the much more strong version of the baker now Baker gives votes only if he lives Cheerleader’s votes stay even if they die Baker only gives votes Cheerleader’s own vote is also doubled So now the baker is meaningless compared to cheerleader 🙃 Maybe if baker has a buff they would be more balanced

My role: Dream Controller Team : Village Ability: Each night the dream controller MUST select one living player (can't be the dream controller himself/herself) to have a dream. The selected player will not die at any cost (werewolf kills, witch's potion and any other ability that causes the selected player to die have no effect at all) that night because the dying only happens in his/her dream (the selected player won't be notified that he/she was selected though). However, if the same player is selected in two consecutive nights, that player will die because he/she is trapped in the virtual world. Also, if the dream controller dies at night, the dreamer that night dies immediately since his/her dream is outta control. If it is the dream controller who causes someone to die, no protective shields will work. (Or you can modify it to make shields work. It is up to you.) Also, roles like the avenger cannot use their ability if his death if caused by the Dream Controller.

Hi Hypostein! I only just saw this video, and I've got 2 roles ideas. Madman (an advanced role to vigilante): Once per game during the discussion phase you can kill 3 people back to back. The killing happens one at a time and if you kill a villager you die instantly. You must kill 3 people within the time. If you do not you will also die. The Undead (Village team): After you are dead, you may still vote for the rest of the game. However, you will not be allowed to communicate with the dead until the game is over. *This is meant to be somewhat of a tank role for villagers, that want to get lynched to waste a ww/sk kill*

First one sounds good, second one is kinda why, because it removes a lot of end-game scenarios, like cowboy fights. Instead I would give this role only that ability to vote from the dead once and as long as it's not used, it can't see dead chat. Then it becomes more of a tactical role.
