The CLK GTR "only" does about 198mph without the Supersport upgrades if I recall correctly. Btw Brabus had a ton of other fast cars even back in the 90s like the 582hp E V12S(206mph) SL65s and S65s with the 630hp v12 engine were also known to hit upwards of 200mph on the autobahn with the electronic limiter removed. But I guess those days are over because of the new restrictive tyres and the fact that fast cars now all weigh close to two tons because of AWD. Anyway have a nice day everyone

Great video but the Porsche GT2rs is not the fastest production car...that title belongs to the Amg Gt Black Series(6:43)...the GT2rs MR (6:38) is not a production car it’s a road legal car...and the normal GT2rs stock’s time is 6:47...

The Hennessy “venom” is actually a British Lotus Evora that has only had a larger engine squeezed in. The added weight on a chassis that was not designed for it, ruins the handling that Lotus are famous for. So it’s certainly not a super car, but a car made by a European manufacturer that has been altered (badly) and cannot be claimed to be American. The ssc is one of many unsuccessful attempts by a small American builder to try to emulate the great European auto makers, by making something that copies a mix of design cues from the likes of Ferrari or Lamborghini, but is assembled on a heavy steel chassis instead of being of lightweight unitary construction (ie no separate chassis) and hand built from carbon fibre as is common practice by Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Koenigsegg, Bugatti etc.etc. Hennessy and SSC both “claim” to hold the record for being the World’s fastest car. A claim that’s laughed at by the rest of the World who know that there are more than a dozen European hypercars, all road legal which are not only faster, but much faster, with better handling and far superior build quality. America does not make supercars and never has. Even the famous Ford GT 40 was not American, at all, but designed, built, tested and actually raced by Lola cars of Great Britain. On the advice of Carol Shelby. The only American content in them was the cast iron engine block and Henry Ford Jnr’s money.
