The original Berry Berry Kix was my favorite too! I was able to taste the difference between the modern day release and the original from when we were kids, and I'm able to taste the difference. The Original Kix Berry pieces definitely tasted sweeter back then and hand a stronger berry taste, the re-release lacked the strong sweet taste like you mentioned in the video and I highly agree with you!

As an adult, my palate just doesn't appreciate sugary kids' cereals the way it used to -- I pick Kix over Corn Pops every day (though actually Pops are one of the few sugary cereals I can still stomach). My favorites are the likes of Grape-Nuts Flakes, Special K Red Berries, and even plain Corn Flakes and Puffed Millet. But that's the beauty of the cereal aisle -- there's something for (almost) everyone! Stay crunchy forever, Gabe.

I find that true but only if I am eating a lot of sugar other parts of the day. For instance if I'm eating a lot of fruit at night, or cookies/cake at work, or foods that are just higher in sugar than normal. It's like our bodies are saying "hey you had enough sugar today, maybe you want to try something else?"

I haven’t had Lucky Charms in years, but I felt the same way as a kid as you did - the cereal pieces just felt so bland and boring and the marshmallows were the only interesting/tasty part of the cereal. I wonder if I would also like it more as an adult - I don’t think I have the need for everything to be super sweet any more the way I did as a kid.

I’m with you on S’mores crunch the OG one is the best out of all of the others rebrands. Fruity Pebbles are one of my favorites too. And, similarly, I love the Cap'n Crunch without the berries. Also a big fan of Raisin Bran Crunch and Oh's. Blueberry Muffin Tops, I believe, are discontinued, but those were so amazing. Recently, I tried a new snack that Honey Bunches of Oats calls "granola chips". They have a blueberry flavor and they taste just like Blueberry Muffin Tops.

S'Mores were so good! You are right about that one. Good list overall. I think mine would differ a little, but some classics just cannot be beaten like Pebbles, Cap'n, and CTC. Speaking of Cap'n, was that orange flavor a regional thing? I was never able to find it in my area so I couldn't experience the flavor. Which doesn't surprise me as NYC barely gets any of these limited edition/sweet flavored cereals.

Good list. I can see your choices. I have my own preferences of course. My list would include the original BooBerry and Count Chocula, not their modern versions. I have to say I loved C-3PO's and that's my number one wish to bring back. Though it is followed closely by Kaboom. I ate plenty of the Ralston cereals but I loved the G.I. Joe Action Stars most so that's on my list. Getting a little flaky I love both Post Toasties Corn Flakes and Grape-Nut Flakes. And I cannot forget Clusters. I know it's not ten but that's all I can think of.

Fruity Pebbles is basically a drug. It's the most addictive and amazing cereal EVER made. Sir Grapefellow was second best with Orange Quangaroos and Kaboom (the ORIGINAL made from OAT) in the 3rd and 4th spot respectively. Cinnamon Toast Crunch rounds out the Top Five.
