Just an FYI if you're interested. As a child, I watched the original cartoons and ate the original Fruity Pebbles (my favorite at the time) before they started adding things like marshmallows. Pebbles are a smaller form of rocks which is how it was originally associated with the cereal (imo). Like most shows did back then, Pebbles and bam-bam were introduced later to try and boost ratings.

I remembered cupcake pebbles. Even though the cereal is mainly a lot of sugar, close enough to some cereal options out there. I remembered when I was kid that my dad got us some, and I absolutely loved them and that they tasted like vanilla cupcake. I do prefer fruity pebbles more than the cupcake ones, but the cupcake pebbles were actually pretty good from my experience on them. I do wish that the cereal could make a comeback, but unfortunately I don’t eat much sugar as I used to, and usually stick to frosted mini wheats more often.

This just made me remember how much I miss King Vitamin cereal. We barely got sugary cereals as kids, and I'm very thankful for that. I think we got the Nintendo one once and mostly just ate the Mario kind, because we weren't familiar with Zelda. We did like the 80s Dunkin Donuts cereal, though.

There was one limited run cereal I remember from when I was about seven or eight years old that I really wish was permanent. My mom and I both loved it. It was a Winnie the Pooh cereal shaped like the honey pots, and it had a honey flavoring. But like, you could actually taste the honey; not like Honey Nut Cheerios where there’s just like a mild hint. It was so good and I was so disappointed that it was a limited run thing. Also Strider, please make a list of best Canadian cartoons!

Ugh, I loved the Sour Patch Kids Cereal! I ate them dry. They were a great snack! Unfortunately, Post was releasing so many great tasting cereals at the same time, between Oreo O’s, Mega Stuf Oreo O’s (my favorite that was sadly discontinued), Golden Oreo O’s, Chips Ahoy!, Sour Patch Kids, Nutter Butter and others to where I couldn’t support them all at the same time. When they discontinued Mega Stuf Oreo O’s, I contacted Post directly and they confirmed it was discontinued, as was Sour Patch Kids. 😞 One cereal I really miss was Smurfs cereal from the 80s. I have never been able to find a suitable replacement and I distinctly remember the flavor. It was like Strawberry and Blue Raspberry flavored and it was sooo good.
