I feel sorry for your stomach. I had the knock off large bags of fruti peddles, coco peddles, froot loops and my favorite captain crunch. I gained so much weight at that time but it was a super cheap breakfast.
@professorbaxtercarelessdre10752 жыл бұрын
@@3arthandsky cereals are high in sugar for sure so you can gain weight, honestly pop-tarts are the worst for that, these days i have a gluten-free diet though so i only eat chex

Back around 1984, there was also a DONUTS cereal. I even had the mail-in frisbee from it. All I can remember was that it tasted good, but was extremely sweetened. Didn't last on the shelves for long...

9:10 Canada actually has a law where cereal based around cartoon characters or movies are basically banned. The only exceptions was if it was like Cheerios tying in with a movie release or Fruity Pebbles which has returned to store shelves in January 2022

Legit I tried the Sour Patch cereal. My local 99 Cents Store had plenty of stock so I went for it. Boy oh boy. It was much better without milk, but once you added the milk it was just disgusting

@@Aironites I think people that enjoy the taste of sour milk are the ones with bad taste buds, man. Like I said it's definitely fire without the milk but when you add the element of the crystals making your milk taste spoiled it loses all fire-ability

I remember when I got a box of sour patch cereal from Walmart just because it looked interesting, but when you actually try it with milk it's almost like the milk is spoiled because of the sourness the cereal adds. My grandparents got mad at me for not finishing the cereal.

The slime cereal reminds me of those green Shrek Twinkie things. It’s literally impossible to put either in your mouth without your mind adding snot to the taste. Ugh! I love how your videos are always 20-30 minutes. It’s really comfortable being able to sit down and relax without it ending before I find the coziest spot in my pillow, and you’re such a calming narrator with a great sense of humor!! Love these videos so much!! (But enough fangirling xD)

Pop Tarts Crunch and Cupcake Pebbles are delish. I'm surprised that there was no mention of the butchered version of Rice Krispies Treats (or the ones with the stale mini marshmallows) that killed the cereal because Kellogg's refused to admit that they made a mistake.
@nine_tails137 Жыл бұрын
Speaking of Rice Krispies, there used to be Halloween ones with orange and black Rice Krispies, but I haven't seen them since the early 90s? Yet every December I see Holiday Rice Krispies. Why?! I loved making Halloween themed Rice Krispies Squares, and now all I can make are the regular and holiday versions.

There was one limited run cereal I remember from when I was about seven or eight years old that I really wish was permanent. My mom and I both loved it. It was a Winnie the Pooh cereal shaped like the honey pots, and it had a honey flavoring. But like, you could actually taste the honey; not like Honey Nut Cheerios where there’s just like a mild hint. It was so good and I was so disappointed that it was a limited run thing. Also Strider, please make a list of best Canadian cartoons!

Maybe if you miss the flavour of them, try adding honey to honey nut cheerios to maybe increase the honey flavour.

Ugh, I loved the Sour Patch Kids Cereal! I ate them dry. They were a great snack! Unfortunately, Post was releasing so many great tasting cereals at the same time, between Oreo O’s, Mega Stuf Oreo O’s (my favorite that was sadly discontinued), Golden Oreo O’s, Chips Ahoy!, Sour Patch Kids, Nutter Butter and others to where I couldn’t support them all at the same time. When they discontinued Mega Stuf Oreo O’s, I contacted Post directly and they confirmed it was discontinued, as was Sour Patch Kids. 😞 One cereal I really miss was Smurfs cereal from the 80s. I have never been able to find a suitable replacement and I distinctly remember the flavor. It was like Strawberry and Blue Raspberry flavored and it was sooo good.

Lucky Charms tastes like a bootleg of what it was supposed to be... I've always preferred the "generic" bag called Marshmallow Mateys. The actual cereal part doesn't taste like cardboard. SpongeBob tastes very similar to that one.
