For the second list in Smash Bonanza Month, we take a look at the Final Smashes that I found the mot awe-inspiring. This list spans Final Smashes from all games to feature them. Enjoy!

Mega Man's final smash just radicates awesomeness. Having basically every other version of the character (unless you like ZX, sorry guys) basically team up with the original blue bomber in an ultimate laser blast combo is not only a great deal of fanservice, but it just looks cool. Love how Ultimate added Proto Man and Bass too.

Apology accepted, but I'm still disappointed we didn't get to see Vent/Aile using Model X. We did, however, get Classic MegaMan, X, Geo Stellar, Volnutt, and MegaMan.EXE, but they should've included Model X. Them appearing as a Spirit in Smash Ultimate is a start.

Most underrated final Smash is Mii Brawler’s All Out Assault, you clearly hear some bones snap in that final smash, who’s bones are snapping I have no idea

I don't know how, but I knew #2 would be... Omnislash V.5 especially due to how it didn't show up previously and how crazy flashy it is.

I kinda want to talk about the different Kirby character Final Smashes from over the years. Dedede definitely got the best of the trio in Ultimate. His FS has gone from the fun if a bit weak Waddle Dee Army in Brawl to the incredibly bland Dedede Burst in Sm4sh to the best of the trio by FAR with Masked Dedede-Rush in Ultimate. I absolutely adore Masked Dedede. If only we could get the song. Kirby hasn’t faired as well as while his Ultra Sword in Sm4sh was cooler than Cook in Brawl, he also has so many different super powerful weapons and abilities from over the years that I feel like we could’ve seen something new for Ultimate. It’s still neat, but something like Hypernova or the Robobot Armor would’ve really cool to see. However Meta Knight is the one I’m the most disappointed in for Ultimate. His Galaxia Darkness in Brawl and Sm4sh was so damn cool even if it was made up for Smash originally. Even cooler is that it appeared in Kirby Planet Robobot as one of Meta Knight’s special attacks in his post-game mode, making it canon… only for the Final Smash to be changed to another Smash original move Darkness Illusion. It’s cool, especially with the 4 wings, but if the Smash team really wanted something like that, they could’ve at least used Upper Caliber from Star Allies and later Forgotten Land. And no, Darkness Illusion and Upper Caliber are not the same ability in any capacity outside the basic concept of each. The animations are incredibly different between SA and Ultimate. I really hope Meta gets either Galaxia Darkness back or is given Upper Caliber whenever we get the next Smash game

My most favorite Final Smash has got to be Sephiroth's, hands down, especially when his Masamune blade glows purple just like him and then we see an AWESOME cutscene with him as Safer Sephiroth destroying the planets and then Earth is destroyed into pieces. The most scariest thing however is that even my Sephiroth amiibo knows his Final Smash and has been able to pull it off flawlessly. My Joker amiibo once did his Final Smash off STAGE one night and he NEVER does that! I also love Yoshi's Final Smash, too, since it references the famous Yoshi Stampede cutscene from Melee, but Sephiroth's Final Smash beats Yoshi's by a long shot.

7:52 Maybe there's a reason why Pit has the Lightning Chariot as his Final Smash & not Dark Pit might be because that the developers of Nintendo didn't had any real ideas about making a new Kid Icarus at the time or ever at all

As a Starfox fan, I never get tired seeing their Final Smashes in Ultimate. A much-needed upgrade from their previous games. (Seriously, Wolf never touches a Landmaster at ALL in the actual games, unless it's in Assault's multiplayer)

10. Definitely a cool final smash 9. A lot of people actually think Sonic's reveal was widely praised, but actually, around that time, everyone hated him. A bunch of morons thought it was cool to kill him off in EVERY SINGLE BRAWL MACHINIMA, proving how much everyone hated him. And yes, this final smash was awesome 8. Definitely a nice touch adding their friends. 7. Definitely awesome. I was expecting Final Form, but this was awesome too. 6. Man, it's like I agree on all of these! 5. I'm glad it was his final smash in SSB4, and it feels less random of a final smash than the Lightning Chariot. 4. Feels kind of like a random final smash to me. I mean I guess I can see why everyone likes it, but to it it's like if Mario's final smash were to have 8-bit Mario, Paper Mario, 16-Bit Mario, 64-bit Mario and Modern Mario were to all jump on the opponent at once. But I will admit even though I feel like this is a random final smash, this one does look cool. BTW before his final smash was revealed, I partially expected it to be where he fires a metal blade at the opponent and it's an instant KO or something like that, to poke fun at how broken it was in MM2. BTW where did you get voice clip towards the end of the entry? 3. Should have seen it coming 2. I never noticed the FS could change if you wore that costume! I didn't think alternate costumes could really make any difference. 1. Now if only they actually showed it in the game it came from.

4.-) Difference is that Nintendo keeps using the character, so we aren't starved for new content. Capcom does not, so we take all the new Megaman-content that we can get.

Gotta say, this list is kinda messy in places, which is a shame. - Landmasters were some of the absolute most broken final smashes in older titles. You could take multiple stocks in a single usage and they all had different mobilities, strengths and timers around them. - Sonic's current final smash is borderline impossible to kill with and unanimously considered one of the absolute worst in the series, let alone game. - Super sonic in SSBB/SSB4 was fucking insane and among the best as supported by top players who actually used items in early competitive brawl (good times) - Ness/Lucas final smashes have differences in size, knockback and damage. They are not the same despite looking similar. - (small point - 2:33 - for instead of four or the most commonly accepted 4) The other choices were good and were supported with correct information. You probably should have said the differences between Pyra/Mythra's final smashes because they do have differences (they even said that in the direct) Personal preference is the entire point behind a list like this, but at the very least check the information you're providing if you're going to use it as a rationale. Not to mention many of the takes over which ones were good in past games were completely contrary to the vast majority of the scene, including almost every high level player who is familiar with items.

In regards to the timestamp, originally it actually did say “Smash 4”, but after Sakurai’s recent videos consistently using “Smash for”, I decided to change it, and that’s what I’m going with from now on. In fact, during the Pyra/Mythra presentation where he talked about the reveal trailer, you can hear Sakurai saying “Sumabura for” to abbreviate “Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U” while the subtitles wrote out the full title. As for the rest of your comment, I appreciate being informed of correct information. However, much of what you bring up is in regards to how OBJECTIVELY good the Final Smashes in question are. I feel that information is irrelevant to bring up on a subjective favorites list unless it’s something I’m wanting to bring up (in which case, if the information I bring up is wrong, like the PK Starstorm segment, feel free to correct me on it).

I think the only other retical final smash is bowser's. I finally found someone that doesn't mind triforce slash. I would put king dedede's ultimate final smash in #1 and king k rool's at #2.

i wish my main had a more fitting Final Smash (or even a stage) R.O.B. imagen R.O.B. blasting opponents into an old CRT TV, placing 2 Gyro's on his buttons and the opponent get squashed by a red and blue pillar (giving a burried effect, instead of a launch)

Now, I do think the Zelda series needs better representation, but I also do not think that a way to do so would be to modify any of the existing characters. Instead, I think that all it truly needs is to get new characters.
