Hi Jared, I usually freehand-sharpen my knives using ceramic rods, with actually at least shaving sharpness. But could you please show us how to sharpen difficult geometries, like that wavy kriss knife? Thanks a lot and God bless 👍

reg. the German Gravity knife the service knife my unit got in 1985 says AES83 on the handle, made by Eickhorn. yours look a little different.

I got my first Maxace and first Auto that's not OTF. Babylon-A .It's just great. Has better build quality than any other i own, but in Carbon Fiber handle. For 180 dollars. Those videos you do, Metal Complex and others are in my shuffle but you always influence my buying's and thanks for that.

The Kodiak isn sick! In gold ! dopeeee! and WMK has them as well in three of four configurations. I love my Trisect it is done insanely well, its crazy comfortable too! What is the Kubey model ?

I love my Titanis ! What can you say about this massive titanium Megladon except for the fact that it is a 100 % on the big badassery meter ! Mine is out on loan...it went to Doodys Daggers then it goes to Knife Dope then back to me. I am waiting for its safe return.

I know this is a crazy gimmicky idea, but I’ve been thinking about it for years and years and wouldn’t it be cool just to make some thing really wacky and different if a knife company made a knife that you could either put a microSD card in or something like that and program your own sound so that when you deploy the knife in the blade clicks open There could be some kind of sound like a gunshot or some thing like that? So it could have a tiny little speaker, and either it could come with an on board sound or somehow you could program it to choose a specific sound out of several choices or something like that. Obviously, it would have to have a small rechargeable battery and for a smaller knife. It wouldn’t make any sense really at all but for a larger knife that’s over built anyway, why not? I know a lot of people would think it’s stupid, but there would be a lot of people that would buy them. Just depends how it was done whether it would be good or not. It would be fun for sure. Or it could be an OTF that does the same thing although that would probably be more complicated to engineer. You would think they would’ve at least been some cheap Chinese knife yeah, that would’ve tried something like that. Maybe there is and I just didn’t know about it.

Shyt yes I love big knives too, just because they stupidly beautifully over built and almost silly to carry, but that last one was any knife lovers dream knife, the craziest thing about those big knives though is they're stupid expensive too for something ur not gonna carry so that's a lotta money just laying round in a collection lol, but I understand the need to own them as a knife lover myself 🤣👍

Great video. I have been drawn to most of these knives at one point or another, especially the Maxace knives Those knives would put a smile on my face. I just bought a Chavez Redencion and it is my favorite knife but it is too bulky to carry around every day.

First, thanks for GREAT content! I also LOVE the Maxace Titanis! I FINALLY found one in new condition on eBay a couple of months ago, and certainly jumped right on it. I had fallen in love with overbuilt knives quite some time ago (actually from watching some of your videos). I’m curious about something though. I’ve seen basically 3 variations of the Titanis… one that’s black with gold; a gray one; and finally a version with the damascus colored inlays. Mine, however, is gray and silver with the gold inlays (the gray is where the black is on yours). Did I get one that someone perhaps changed out the inlays, or is there a production version of one like mine? Thanks, and keep up the GREAT content!! ;-}. MM

There's four versions of the Titanis: Grey (M05A); Black & Gold (M05B); Black with Mokume Inlays (M05C); & Grey with Timascus Inlays (M05D).

Absolutely excellent stuff, it was a pleasure to see what basically turns you into a big kid again Jerad. Especially when you’re looking at the last pmp number you looked just like a kid at Christmas and then at the end when you was playing with the last of the Maxace monsters you’re hands and just the knife shot looked like a kid with a ordinary sized knife haha all in all a absolutely fantastic piece of work.
