It's so interesting to see how your favorite Pokemon change over time. Even if there aren't a lot of "new" additions, going back and playing the games a different way can make you appreciate Pokemon you overlooked before. Torterra is a great Pokemon, in my honest opinion. It's the only Pokemon to be ground and grass type, it learns earthquake as soon as it fully evolves, it has a very believable change as it evolves (I like it when grass type starters have smooth transitions as they evolve, and Torterra to me does this perfectly), and it was even my first starter Pokemon when I played gen4 for the first time. Definitely a Pokemon that I think deserves more love

I searched ‘top 10 favourite pokémon’ and found that one of my favourite pokétubers made exactly that video just yesterday! Honestly I love this list - it’s so - you - it’s personal yet you’re able to share it so beautifully with all of us watching! I love that you included the top 25 as well, you just love them all too much not to mention them! You’ve actually made me appreciate so many pokémon more and more in all of your videos but especcially this one. Malamar I used to dislike but after all you’ve said about it in your videos I really appreciate it. I actually used to really dislike the treecko line, especcially grovile - but now watching this video I am excited to see it at the top of your list and feel it thoughrally deserving upon anyone’s list! Though it isn’t my personal favourite I still now love it’s design and how personal it’s attatchment to both you and others who picked it is. Just the way chikorita and turtwig are for me. Hoenn had the best starter trio. Swampert (my personal favorite), Blaziken, and Sceptile are all awesome Pokémon!

Gen3 had one of the best starter Pokemon lineups out of every generation, and that's an opinion that is shared by many people, myself included. Swampert is my personal favorite of the 3 of them, partly because I like water types quite a bit, but also because I like big, strong and tough looking Pokemon, which Swampert very much so is. I'm not a fan of the design of it's mega evolution, though (I've always joked that it looks like it got thrown into a blender with a Mamemon because of it's weird propositions), but that's about the only thing I legitimately dislike about it even a little bit.

It's also based off of an extinct species of owl known as the stilt owl (if I'm not mistaken), which is why it suddenly goes from being part flying to part ghost typed when it fully evolves. I've always found that to be interesting, personally; but I also like all 3 gen7 starters pretty well, personally.

1-Sceptile: always has been my favorite since 2008. 2-Zoroark: fantastic design, origins, ability everything. 3-Naganadel: knew i would love it when I saw it. 4-Xurkitree and Blacephalon: love them in the anime and games. 5-Garchomp: earth shark and it's amazing 6-Kyurem fusions: normal Kyurem is fine but it's fusions are the coolest looking pokemon ever. 7-Rayquaza/Yveltal : another tie can't decide which one. 8-Dracovish: it's an abomination against nature and is somehow adorable I love it. 9-Scoliepede: best bug type ever. 10-Zygarde: everything about him speaks cool.

Sceptile fans for life As an avid druid player in dnd sceptile is also perfect for that theme, protecting the forest with natural weapons, being both plant and animal and even being an honorary dragon, and I agree it is cool at every stage, I've raised so many sceptile with so many unique move sets since he has such a diverse move pool for a grass starter Arial Ace, Thunder Punch, Rock Slide, Dragon Breath, Focus Blast, Nature power can be fun on him in game and I've had one with hidden power fire for some time now.(very nice to sweep away the odd steel/bug type wall) I make sure to have at least one sceptile in every generation

I love rayquaza for its design and it’s enjoyment in pokemon refresh and it’s smile and that’s it screams that it’s a beast and nothing can touch it.

When I was younger, I dropped Golbat cause I couldn't look past it's big mouth and tongue. But then when I got older, I thought, why not take one to the elite four? I had no idea Pokemon could evolve through friendship and I had NO idea Crobat existed. Imagine my surprise. I loved that little guy or girl (I forget what the sex of mine was) because I earned it :). Fantastic list. Bravo!

All pokemon are amazing in their own way whether you like them or not. My favourite pokemon is Infernape due to son wukong being one of my favourite characters of all time.
