Al Gover NEVER claimed to have invented the internet. He helped push through important legislation that got it up an running for civilians. It is a CONSERVATIVE thing to claim that Gore said it to discredit him, not something liberals claim.

Walt Disney’s first creation before Mickey Mouse was Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. And before he started his long partnership with his brother Roy in their own Disney Empire, he work partially at Universal Studio for the Oswald cartoon show between 1920’s and 1930’s. In addition, he has work his troubled cartoon studio for a year before shut down.

People need to stop crapping on Columbus! Yes there were people already here (that STILL didn’t have primitive building skills or even metallurgy) and yes, the Vikings had arrived here before. But Columbus successfully came to the America’s and then revealed the “New World” to the rest of Europe and the advanced world at that time who had no knowledge of its existence. That is still an accomplishment.

wildturkey3776 yeah and only one country : -invented agriculture -was the first to sent a man in space -invented printing -invented the car -etc and as far as i remember, outside of the shock factor, we have yet to see any utility in sending a man to the moon. Oh maybe that is why, no other country are arrogant enough to sent a man to the moon, just to make a claim : we sent a man to the moon.

I was talking about how there has been in tendency in US to take credits for themselves, or to blow some of their achievement out of proportion. (they are not the only one to do that though), never said US was inferior to a specific country for the same reason that USA is not the superior country, as some are trying to push you to believe.
