Beautiful Top Ten. I’ve been sampling La Collection Privée Christian Dior and fell in love with Tobacolor. I own eight of the scents now, but Tobacolor has a chokehold on me. It leans slight masculine after 4 hours but I can’t bring myself to layer it yet. Most complimented is Nebras by Lattafa. Some say it’s very similiar to Billie Eilish. The Arabic scents need to macerate for a month imo. Yara is beautiful, but was a watery beach scent to my nose at first spray. I set it aside for a month and now this beautiful creamy floral has emerged. Opium Le Parfum is TT for me, Donna Born in Roma as well.

Tobacolor is so gorgeous so I can see why you love it! I need to revisit Opium Le Parfum, I sampled it once and didn’t think much of it BUT I haven’t tried it on the skin! ❤️

Fire list per usual boo. I love nearly all of these !! Just left the Ex Nihilo boutique and Fleur Narcotique Extrait was gorgeous!!! I walked out with 2 other bottles though and 2 travel sprays. Bouquet Ideale will forever make my list as well.

That's a beautiful top 10, Hayley. Nice to see some perfumes people are not talking about all the time. I have Bouquet Ideale and Princess on my wish list. I don't know how my top 10 would look like, but it would definitely include Sunshine by Amouage as I feel it is my spirit perfume lol. Not the name per se, but the scent. I feel it would be the perfume I would have created if I were a perfumer.

I am very much enjoying iris fragrances and I think iris and violets will always be my favorite notes!! Glossier You, diptyque fleur de Peau, molecule 02 by eccentric molecules will always be in my top 10 (i need to figure out what my other top ones will be ☺️ ) Currently wanting to try: molecule 01+iris and sonic flower by room 1015!!! And as ALWAYS, I’m enjoying Jardins de Misfah a LOT, as I feel it can definitely be a year round fragrance 🥰

I purchased a travel spray of Princess from Sephora after falling in love with Love Don't be shy. Based on all reviews I thought it would be an easy one for my collection. I get absolutely nothing but playdoh - straight up red playdoh from Princess. I am really trying to decide if it's the travel size spray or if that is just my nose. I just got a sample of Bouquet Ideale from a Luckyscent purchase and I am so excited to try it. Ylang in Gold has been on my "to sample" list forever!

I'm curious about that Dries van Noten fragrance. Some of my favourite fragrances are Magnolia Rosae by Maison Lancome and Angels' Share - truly these are the most addictive in my collection. I'd also add Oriental Enigma by Alexandre. J and The K'Bridge Club by Xerjoff. There's so many to choose from, quite hard to pick actually 😅

Think you growing out of Angels' Share is pretty indicative of getting deeper into the hobby, because I frequently see so-called "newer hobbyists" liking scents like Angels' Share, like Layton, like Delina and thinking that those are must-haves for life until they find an iteration of the same fragrance that suits them better. I recently sampled Carner Barcelona's "Palo Santo" and think that might be of interest to you as a distant play on the Bouquet Ideale profile. You should still get your nose on Royal Crown's "Sultan" which in my opinion outdoes the Initio. AA definitely smells dirtier/inviting/feminine vs. Sultan smells woodier/perhaps narrowly masculine. Some of my ride-or-die's (28M for context, these are unlikely to smell feminine to say the least): Royal Crown "Sultan", Xerjoff "Alexandria II", Nishane "Nefs", Atelier des Ors "Lune Féline Extrait", Initio "Blessed Baraka", Nishane "Tero", BDK "Gris Charnel Extrait", Amouage "Enclave".

Re: hunting down scents at Esxence, there are some really interesting new releases that might be worth your time. Just to list a few: 2023 release "Scirocco" by Moresque (a play on Nishane's Nefs), 2023 release "Fanfarone Italiano" by State of Mind (a sophisticated gourmand from a VERY underground niche house), 2023 release "Hidden Shades" by The House of Oud (reminded me of Parisian Musc from Matiere), 2023 release "Sirius" by L'Arc Parfums (again, a pretty underground brand - they have a nice Layton-Naxos hybrid scent called "Evasion" as well). And this is without mentioning the obvious, like the 4 new Xerjoffs, the 4 new Grittis, the Micallefs, the Kilians. I know Fragrance du Bois is launching a second collab with Producer Michael called "AM" (the first one was a very... out there fragrance lets just say) as well. We don't really even have a full list of everything coming out yet, a lot of brands are more-so teasing the idea of releases.

Maybe 70% of your viewers is wrong, I'm subscribed on my iPad but sometimes I watch on TV and not always logged in.😊 I'd like to purchase a unique fragrance for my birthday, I was thinking Babycat, I love Dior Addict which I have, could you do a video on first niche fragrance purchase, I cant decide ,on Babycat, Creed, Starlight, 😂😂😂 I love spicy and strong fragrances. What do you think of Guerlain Santal Royal? Dolce and Gabbana Amber? I'm not a fan of Poison so I dont like that type of fragrance, but some favourites are Dior Addict ,Prada Amber, Especially Escada, Prada Femme. I love fragrances that as soon as you smell them your stomach leaps, your toes curl, and your heart just knows it's the one😂😂😂 I love them to be different from the current fashion scent too. It will be my 50th in a few weeks so it has to ge special, but I feel overwhelmed by my first big choice. Thank you.❤

I recently found my favorite fragrance of all time it is Guerlain French Kiss sadly it is rare and discontinued but i have a backup of it and love it. I also like Guerlain Cuir Beluga its not discontinued and i think you would like that one alot. For the summer I recently purchased the new Kayali Yum and on me it is so sweet gourmand but not too sweet and lasts long on my skin its a love. wow i so need to try Xerjoff Bouquet Ideal it sounds gorgeous! I love Guerlain SDV and I love it! Best vanilla ever in my opinion. Princess from Killian is one of my favorite scents also great loving fragrance! i need to try the initio does the Castorium smell like urine? alot of times it does but maybe body odor like to sweaty hot bodies together? 🙈 i also want to smell starlight. i love clove smell i get that also from tom ford tobacco vanille but starlight seems much more elegant. the last one is from a dutch company. i want to try it for a while plus the bottle is prettiest of the collection.

I need to try the last one You mentioned, but nowhere near me. I love Bouquet Ideale, it is just stunning with that base of musk. It was my new years perfume this year. I am kinda over Absolute Aphrodisiac, used 2 decants up and I am glad I did not buy the full bottle, something is bottering me now, and it is not a Civet note. 😂 At the moment I am obsessed with Iris Malikhan, will be my spring perfume. There is just something in this iris leather and green combo that I love. Also found out that Copper from Comme De Garcones and Italian Leather from memo smell basically the same. Next time will pick up Copper since it is cheaper.
