I really wish I could perceive nutty notes. Almond, chestnut, walnut, etc. They all just give a dry effect to a fragrance to my nose. I'm very challenged with nutty notes, Fig, and cypriol oil notes. I bought Soie Malaquis, Gris Charnel, and Gritti Rialto blind and they just dont agree with my skin. I'm so sad about it! I want to experience these fragrances like everyone else! However, my SOTD is one of my most addictive scents. It's peach body wash, and lotion, a smoky peach body oil by Arcana Craves then Initio Paragon with Jimmy Choo I Want Choo layered on top. It's amazing! I have been sniffing myself all day!

A fragrance reviewer recently gave her two cents on WaveChild. I have a full bottle of this and had NO idea what she was talking about. Nothing she said about it was anything that I was experiencing…asked if she got a bad decant. Just goes to show …trust your own nose. 😊

Whew! Hot here in Germany, too! 32 Celsius. 😬Great time to pull out Wavechild... which I did yesterday. Today was devoted to Bossa, by the Brazilian firm Grenado. They have some GORGEOUS scents. Bossa is a dry coconut with aquatic notes, lime, tiara and frangipani. It's what I imagine the Copacabana beach smells like. The fragrance is not too expensive, free shipping, too. Blonde Redhead is an addiction for me as well. If you look at the notes, you think okay...nice, but nothing special. Wrong! So unique. I get strawberry cake. Not expensive, but their shipping is crazy high. I think that is because they are a brand new company, trying to figure out how to get their fragrances out there. Once that gets sorted, this will be a hit, no doubt. Have you sampled others in this line?

It was a challenging video for me, it was the first time that i didn't know any of the mentioned perfumes 😅

My most addictive fragrances right now are Simone Andreoli Leisure in Paradise , Rosendo Matteau #6 and Sweetly Known from Kerosene. I have to stop myself from reaching for these all the time . I bought a decant of Drunk Saffron on your recommendation. I liked it at first snif but I’m still to try it full body to see if it’s a love . I am super curious about Manakara but it is so pricey for what appears to be a simple scent profile . But you have got me intrigued again . Enjoyed this video .

Many people say that the dislike for these perfumes is due to their popularity. I disagree with this. In my opinion, it all depends on how one perceives the scent. People experience colors and smells differently. For example, Baccarat Rouge smells like iodine and a festering wound to me. I'm horrified that anyone could find this scent pleasant and willingly wear it. However, in the comments, people mention smelling burnt sugar, cotton candy, and similar notes. This surprises me immensely, but I begin to understand why this perfume has so many fans.

Thé Ylong is a quite nice and gentle fragrance. Btw, thank you for recommending One Umbrella for two. It ' s one of my all time favorite fragrances.

I get something sweet synthetic in Clean Reserve Skin, that must be praline. Not my favourite. I prefer Radiant Nectar mixed with something like Byredo Blanche. I love Blanche only as layering perfume - it gives freshness to any florals. My favourites from Byredo are Mojave Ghost and Gypsy Water I prefer Le Labo Rose 31 as my summer vetiver perfume. This summer I am obsessed with Pierre Guillaume Suede Osmanthe. It smells like an apricot champagne.
