DMC was such a good game, the combat system flowed so well especially once they added the lock on functionality. The weapons were great, bosses were good and the platforming was great. If Dante had long white hair and a red coat and everything else remained exactly the same no one would have given a shit and it would have gone down as just behind DMC 3 the rankings

Playstation All-Stars got hate before we even seen a first glimpse of the gameplay. I remember it leaking like a week before that initial announcement that revealed Kratos, Sly Cooper, Sweet Tooth, Fat Princess, and PaRappa. Even in the videos discussing the leaks prior to the announcement, Nintendo fanboys were sitting on it and acting like Nintendo has special and exclusive privilege to that genre.

It wasn't about giving it chance the game was good but the developers pissed off the hardcore fan base by disrespecting them and the old Dante. This really should had been higher on the list they didn't really go into detail they just stated how it started but there was so much back and forward between the developers and the hardcore fans and when the game finally came out the developers was still throwing shots in the game but fans ultimately got the last laugh cause it didn't perform well and about a year later capcom released DMC definitive edition and DMC 4 special edition at the same time and DMC 4 special edition out performed it.

IW's campaign was one of the best since Black Ops 2 because it connected you with the characters and allowed you to do side jobs to earn perks and weapon modifications. The multiplayer did kinda suck because there were no leaderboards or combat records for months (plus, the game is HEAVILY NV4 dominant), but they gave you DLC weapons for free through the Season Pass or by completing challenges. The Zombies mode was rather interesting, though. Plus, if you're good enough to beat the easter egg on any map, the game has you playing the Director's Cut version, giving you $25,000 to start, PaPed weapons coming out of the Magic Wheel, and practically an easy win for your squad. Overall, IW is a 7.5/10 game for me.

Yeah, I know. However, if that art style was more "realistic" or just less cartoonish, It wouldn't have gotten the backlash in the beginning. This just means that many gamers will judge a game based on the graphics and that in turn makes graphics important. Graphics don't make the game any better, but it certainly will affect the first impression and in turn, give that sort of backlash before people even play it.

It still upsets me how poorly fans reacted to Andromeda. Aside from the admittedly ugly character models, I found it to be a really enjoyable game. And now they've even released a patch fixing those ugly character models. Nobody will admit it, but I think what it honestly boils down to is that people are salty it's not similar enough to Mass Effect 2 and 3, but it was never TRYING to be Mass Effect 4. They could have made the exact same game but not put "Mass Effect" in its title, and everybody would have loved it, and that makes me kind of mad.

I was one of the few people excited by the visual and tonal shift in Wind Waker, when it was first revealed, and I still consider it one of the greatest Legend of Zelda games ever made. Even today, I'd rather play through Wind Waker again than Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, or Skyward Sword.

Mass Effect Andromeda. Don't like Sara's facial animation? Can't you just customize you're own Sara? Cora & Suvi are hot. Peebee is the hottest Asari in Andromeda (still has nothing on Liara). Who cares about Sloan? Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Was there hate because they force you to play as Jacob instead of always Evie. Still have trouble figuring out how the genetic memory works myself. They must have found a way to splice one sample with a distant cousin sample so the initiate can access everything, unless there's some Lannister stuff going on 🤣 I like Wind Waker, but the animation leaves much to be desired. Mass Effect Andromeda haters should put story above animation like I do with Wind Waker. Sailing was sure fun.

Metroid Prime is not called Samus Prime and second its a side sequel about the Federation Force. I will admit that they look like potatoes as Shokio once said and that its not a Metroid game without Samus but the game is called Metroid because of Metroids. I like how people complain about a side game as Metroid Prime Federation Force but not a Pokemon side game like Mystery Dungeon.

I can understand wind waker due to the fact they switch from the realistic darker tone zeldas from the n64 to a cel shaded cartoon style game. But the game was amazing too many and even to the people who despise it at first, to me the game need to be remade again this time for the switch. As for dmc, was controversial but the story and world was good enough to give Dante a new tale in our world this time. Left4Dead I barely heard anyone talk bad about that game only that they wanted to a part 3 for steam, windows, and x1 already and also support cross-play between them.

Dude I gave Mass Effect Andromeda a chance because I was excited for a new game from one of my favorite series after a hard couple of months. That shit actually pissed me off because Dragon Age Inquisition had disappointed me a little too. I don't like the open world bull crap it doesn't work for rpg games like Bioware. It works better as a linear world like the first two Dragon Age and Mass Effect games. Honestly I think them making all their RPGs open world makes it less fun because there's no variety about anything like the Witcher because you're basically traveling around and doing what you want with your actions occasionally affecting the world but with Bioware it's mostly fetch and hunt quest that only just makes more animals pop into the environment or an new building pop here or there once a while. At least in the Witcher when you fucked up or screwed someone over it was clear like in the disease quest, a plague was spread throughout the region if you choose the wrong the choice.
