In this video I will show you the top 10 German verbs. According to Duden these are the most common German verbs which I am going to teach you together with the conjugation of each verb.
Here you will find of course the verbs "sein" und "haben" such as "werden", "machen", "sehen" and so on. Most of these verbs are actually basic verbs so specially as a beginner German learner you need to know those most common German verbs to be able to make sentences and talk you first German words. We will to the conjugation of every verb together and after every verb there is going to be an example on how to use the verb in daily life.
I didn't include the Modalverben which I am going to teach you in another video. But of course some of the most common German verbs are actually Modalverben. But more about these in another video. :)
Viel Spass und bis bald

With "Was sieht das Paar?" why is it "es" and not "sie"? 🥺 I love your videos btw, they're so clear and structured. It makes it really easy to follow along! Vielen Dank! 🙏❤️
@mdd25

Because it's "das Paar" - the couple, so "es" - it/the couple; hope this is clear.

You could also answer with "Sie sehen einen Film." because a couple are two people. I think they wanted to keep the "sieht" of the question.

Your Videos are so wonderful Luzi. Thank you for curating these wonderful videos. If I may ask, why did you say “sie kommt aus Deutschland” as a reply to woher kommt die marke? I thought the verb “kommt” would change conjugation to be “kommen” As in “Sie Kommen aus…..”
@yourgermanteacher
@yourgermanteacher 3 ай бұрын
die Marke (feminin singular)
@Immersify-DE
@Immersify-DE 2 ай бұрын
In German, "Sie kommt aus Deutschland" uses "kommt" because "sie" here refers to “she” or “it” (third-person singular), which is why the verb is conjugated as kommt. When you say “Woher kommt die Marke?” (Where does the brand come from?), “die Marke” is a singular noun, so we use the third-person singular form, kommt. On the other hand, “Sie kommen aus…” with kommen is used for the formal “you” (formal "Sie") or plural “they.” So, verb conjugation depends on whether “Sie” means “she,” “they,” or “you” in formal situations. :)

At 28 seconds, you said, "In today's video, we got to talk about ... ". "Got to", should be replaced. You should have said something like, "We have the great privilege of talking about ..., or, "we're going to elucidate ...". You're doing fine work as a teacher, but you need an English teacher to help you smooth, sculpt and shine your English. Still though, you've got the gift.
