But... This is how US shows do things. Houses are far too big, food way to plentiful for circumstance, gas tanks lasts mythologically long, supposedly cheap material still look great - endless list. And, as well as one must understand that you can't actually skip around a school singing a bangin' song unaccompanied by actual music, you must understand that the flares and bells and whistles might be more how they perceive their performance than what actually happened. This is called art and drama.

There also de fact that she got vocal lessons. Sugar loves to sing. Maybe she got better. I took vocal lessons and does wonders. Will sing like Lea? No. But decent enough to be in the Glee club. Sugar was even in Britania's/Klein's wedding.

Glee also forgot that Marley was supposed to be poor. When she was first introduced I remember her financial situation being a pretty good chuck of her identity, but then after a couple episodes it seems that everybody, even her, forgot about it lol.

I'm not sure it was a mistake. She was tough and no nonsense in season 1, so she crafted a ridiculous story. If she said she cut her hair short for respect, she could've lost it. Then she told the one student she got close to and watched over the real reason. Or at least that's what I like to think.

#10 isn’t a mistake.. it just means that they ignored the list and kept performing as they wanted to. Because the e parents didn’t have an issue after that, they didn’t have to use the list. #8 He changed his mind between the seasons. #7 many shows change minor characters like that. #5 that’s not really a plot hole or anything lol, people forget things like that easily. #3 simple.. vocal lessons. Couldn’t be too hard to help her out. #2 She said it had been 8 years, he could’ve been 17, depending on the date it happened. Simple. #1 she could’ve lied to them, I mean it’s Sue we’re talking about lmao.

Not to mention, Rachel says her parents used a surrogate but then she later when she meets Shelby (her mom) she finds out that Shelby wasn’t ready for a kid and that she gave her up, which implies it was just a simple adoption

I think it's ok they changed what Rachel's dads looked like because Jeff Goldblum and Brian Stokes Mitchell were great with perfect chemistry and humor. After all, it's happened before: for example, they changed the actress who played Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter series when she became a main character in the sixth film, which did cause some controversy, but was still done.

Actually Artie being older but still a freshman season 1 makes sense because of he got into a debilitating car accident he probably missed a good deal of school and was likely held back... I almost was when I missed over a month in 3rd grade due to a seizure disorder and hospitalization but I was luckily ahead of my class. Also I always took Blaine saying Junior member to mean a younger member and that only seniors were considered Senior members, like freshman, sophomores and juniors were all junior members

A plot hole that bugs me for some reason is that in season 4 sectionals the new directions got disclofied for stopping mid performance and the warbler won but they used performance enhancing drugs so they got disclofied so wouldnt that make the 3rd team the winners?🤷🏻‍♀️

I get that Rachel's dad's look different but honestly it's just a recasting. Blaine & Artie could have likely been held back for one reason or another. Sugar may not be able to dance but she sure can dance. I noticed the mistake involving Ryder right away when season 5 premiered however looking back I have a theory that Ryder decided to stay in glee club because he knows that's what Finn would have wanted.

Sue might have made fun of them, but she actually had more respect for Kurt & Mercedes than the rest of the OG Glee members. Also, she was always a gym teacher. In fairness to the writers with regards to Artie's calendrical age and which Grade (years) he should be in at School, one of two scenarios could have happened. Either; Scenario 1; He was in a coma for a couple of weeks or months after the accident and his parents decided it was best he be kept back a year so he could catch up. Or Scenario 2; for a while after the accident he did have some movement in the lower body, so his parents got him to do physiotherapy. Unfortunately for some reason the neurologists can't explain not only does the physio not work but also the little movement Artie did have also vanished at around the same time he started going back to school. Now because he'd been having daily physio which wiped him out it was suggested (by the school authorities) that so he could catch up on the school he missed he should be held back a year

Another mistake Glee made was when Rachel said her dad's screen for sergeants before having her, but when we met Shelby, she said she was pregnant and answered an ad. For the rest of the season/series, they acted like Shelby gave Rachel up when that's not how sergeancy works.

Kurt and Artie are believed to both have been held back a year in school. Kurt is the oldest of the ND being born in may 1993, which we see on his NYADA application. Artie could have been held back because of his accident, and Kurt could have been from his mothers death, he talks about it a little and it seems like he fell into a bit of a depression and could have slipped in his school work

In season 2, at Dentist Karl's office she said her dad was a "real doctor with awesome insurance" but later in ajother season she says she grew up in Lima Heights, implying it's a low income neighborhood. Ryder rejoining Glee club in Season 5 without explanation was due to a planned storyline that had to be dropped last minute after Cory Monteith's passing. Finn was supposed to be the one to convince Ryder to return to New Directions but sadly this never became a reality and with the show having to address Finn's passing early on this plot for Ryder seemed insignificant.

You left out a pretty big one. In season 2, Sue coached the show choir group Aural Intensity at Regionals. However, in season 6 when Sue beings to coach Vocal Adrenaline, she says she's never coached a show choir before despite that, as if the show just forgot. A pretty minor one as well is the show forgetting about Blaine's brother, Cooper. when Sue shows Blaine and Karofsky their online genealogy profile, Blaine's section doesn't seem to show Cooper at all, despite the fact that Sue, the person who made it, had met Cooper in season 3

Being a "junior member" of a society doesn't always mean you're in the junior class. At my school, being a junior member meant you were either freshman or sophomore. A senior member member was a junior or a senior. It was just a distinction between lowerclassmen and upperclassmen.

When sugar joins the trouble tons Santana says that she can lip sing and dance in the back. Don’t know if exactly what she said but about. Edit also for Artie it depends on when his birthday is because if he just missed the cut of day and Tina could have been rounding up and he could still be in the same grade as her

Rachel's two dads def is my #1. But the way they were cast later in season 3 makes so much more sense than season 1. They're more attractive and actually look like a couple. Who the hell picked the first two on the locker?? #6 cracked me up! Finn in two places at once 😂 You're def right about Sue's hair! I forgot about that. Quinn also mentioned in the season finale of season 2 that she had a secret plan regarding Finn and we never saw what that was.

Seriously!! The age back track happened because the creators didn't know if the show would go beyond 3 years. Then it did, and they needed a couple of characters to anchor the viewers to the high school as they tried to bring in new cast members. We could have followed everyone to New York, but what would Will, Emma and Sue do (other than get married and be vanquished, respectively)? Ideally, if we loved Kitty as much as Quinn, this continual handing of the baton of new talent would have gone on for a decade. But the writing dropped, and we got episodes about puppets instead.

There could be a number of reasons Artie is a junior and not a seniyin season 2. His birthday could come late in the year or sonce he mentioned about being in a car accident je could have missed a year and had to make it up later depending on how bad the car accident was. Some schools allow you to go to school until your 21 if you have missing credits needed for college

I think I can explain Artie's age situation. Let's say he was also born the same month and day as Kevin McHale (June 14th), since Chris Colfer and Kurt Hummel canonically had the same birthday, just different years. Let's also follow what they made his age to be: a junior in season 3 (17 years old). I'm assuming he's one of the older ones in his year but he still makes the age range. That means he would be a 15-year old freshman in season 1 which commenced year 2009. If you subtract his age from the year, his birth date would be June 14, 1994. From what was revealed in the series, he got on an accident when he was 8 years old, which I would presume would be the latter half of the year 2002 (post-birthday). Then, the episode where it was addressed was called 'Dream On' and it aired May 18, 2010, which was still part of the 2009-2010 academic year. From the day of his accident in 2002 to May 18, 2010, there would at most be 7 years and 11 months, which he decided to round up to 8 years. If the accident happened in 2003, he might have just counted the number of years involved until the present which is also eight (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010). I know it's a stretch of an explanation, but it actually makes sense still.
