Thanks for the concern . There has always been a little bit of underlying anger rage and bitterness even in the humour and I thought I’d have a go at this song as I like the simplicity of the message. We all feel this way about things now and then in life.

Gucci Nobile Epic - went thru ~10 bottles from '87-2000 - had a very high success rate with it - was a great layer scent as well. Great content MrSmelly

How cool is the Fendi Uomo bottle! Drakkar Noir has bad rep. from too many guys back in the day dousing themselves in it like they're about to set themselves on fire (and to be honest I probably went a bit turbo on it myself in that era) but still masterful perfumery, genuine love. Paco Sport is literally the frag that started it all for me, Dad travelled internationally frequently for work when I was kid, used to bring me back Business Class toiletry kits and one of the airlines (Qantas perhaps, can't quite remember) included 5ml Paco Sport and I was hooked. Asked him to buy me a full bottle duty free, he brought back Paco Rabanne PH (which was just spectacular back then, sparkled!), my first full bottle and the rest is history. Finally I've never owned or remember trying Furyo (though have heard of it), but Lapidus PH - gangster all right. You don't have to physically assault someone wearing this, as you enter the room it punches them in the face for you!

The talent overload you present in so many aspects of life is a little intimidating for regular guys like myself, but also inspiring. The song just adds another level and then you even flaunt it in the choice of song. I have two exes that I am grateful for. I wore most of these nostril scorching fragrances. They packed a huge punch in the opening!! Would leave a scent trail that crossed time zones and could remain on your skin after a nuclear holocaust. However, the most important detail that distinguished 80s powerhouses from just “strong, long lasting scents” is an undeniable & aggressive SWAGGER!

I will always have Ted Lapidus Pour Homme and Drakkar Noir in my collection. Both are classic 80s manly scents. I also love my Oscar De La Renta Pour Lui. Another belting cheapie is Jacques Bogart Pour Homme from the same time line..

I really miss Jill Sanders Man Pure, Bogner Man and Man II, as well as Boss No1,. Even if the later is still available, it obviously doesn’t have the depth of the 80s and 90s version. Still love it, though.

Fendi Uomo is a copy of Caron Le 3e but without the great Le 3e powder, Drakkar Noir is not a flanker, Drakkar is creamy lemon, Noir has nothing to do with Drakkar

Thanks. In terms of sharing the name Drakkar must be regarded as a flanker even if the smell has no similarity. Just as Platinum Egoiste is a flanker to Egoiste. It leverages the other fragrance’s name so I would regard it as a flanker.
