I wear Eden when it's cold and raining. It smells the best at these times.

My goodness you absolutely read my mind by making this video. I’ve been really getting into green scents lately and I’ve been looking for recommendations! Your taste is just spot on RuthAnne! Also I understand that your husband is French Canadian, well my dad is French Canadian too! I miss Montreal so much! I hope your husband is doing well and his health is improving.

Wind Song (1953) is also quite similar to L'Air du Temps by Nina Ricci (1948). They get compared to each other quite a bit and share a lot of the same notes. In the top & mid they both have Neroli , Carnation, Cloves, Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang, Rose, Violet, Orris Root, and Rosewood. And both perfumes share Sandalwood, Vetiver, Cedar, Musk, Amber and Benzoin in the base. I have a modern formulation of L'Air du Temps that in my opinion has survived reformulations quite well (better than many other fragrances) and is pretty close to how I remember it back in the 70s-although I would still like to get it vintage bottle. They can be found easily and are usually reasonably priced. I own a vintage bottle of Windsong that has held up beautifully. It smells really good. I love them both. I also love Chanel No 19. I have it in the EDP and Parfum extrait and I have the Poudre flanker, which is my favorite. I like to wear it first thing in the morning . I’ve never tried the EDT but I need to make a point of doing so. With Chanel No 5 I much prefer the EDT over the EDP because to my nose it’s closer how No 5 smelled in the 60s/70s/80s.

Thanks for another great video. Frederic Malle Synthetic Jungle is the best green ever. I know $$$ but get a sample.

Eden is from the french house Cacharel. It is indeed veeeeery peculiar. I could never wear it, but I appreciate it very much.

That Channel number 19 one, I heard from a shop owner that it is discontinued. The one he has has a white cap and no box do you think it’s a good price? He is selling it for 90 dollars. Oh I see you have the edt that’s the one he is selling in his shop.

$90 is a great price for a full bottle. As of summer this year No19 was available from the US chanel website for $120
