I know, he is so funny to listen to! The hard part is saying less before he sniffs so that I don't influence his opinion so much. And yeah, he thinks Oud Bouquet is gross and Shaghaf Oud is awesome. Maybe that heavy dose of praline in Oud Bouquet nauseated him. 🤣 Thanks for watching!!

I used to fragrance model for Givenchy. I hated all the mens scents but Yasatis and Amarige were so lovely and sold out every Christmas!! Amarige made me feel so beautiful and put together!! The creams were decadent and luxurious.

Oh Girl... I'm No Model! In our area, Metro Atlanta, larger and some times smaller brands pay people to push their fragrances specifically. You go to different department stores/counters trying to improve sales for that brand. It was super fun considering there were lots of us doing it at the time. I became friends with some other models and we swapped our gratis bottles! This is way before you tube and collecting was a thing! The 90's Mall Life!!

My fave beast mode fragrances: Gucci's Rush 1&2. Two spritzes away from the body, twist into the mist and you're set for the *WHOLE* day. When I first got Rush I made the mistake of spraying it directly at myself. WHEW! Never did that again. Rolling into the mist is just right. 👌🥰

knowing has been one of my signature scents for decades. It's a very serious scent and I would always wear it for business meetings and for social occasions when I wanted to be notices. Often complimented on that one. Love it!! Haven't tried any of the others. But now have Club de Nuit which is getting the same great reviews. I love what Vernica recommends. V. you know your stuff!!

Hi there! I just immediately had to go in and prenumerate - I love the way you cooperate with your son! And I love your voice as well, and your sense of humour!! Anyway, I just have to tell you about my opinion on Anais Anais. I got it when I was just a teenager, in 1979. And it was just so very lovely... and I swear it was not too strong back then !! I had it for many years, used several bottles up, and then went on to other fragrances. Then, a couple of years ago, I bought a small bottle for old love's sake - but I have to tell you, that they have totally destroyed it!!! It is now so strong, cold, harsh and screechy, that I can not wear it at all!! Almost impossible to wash off, too! So, this will now be just a memory for me. I got married in that old lovely version, had the soap as well, and my husband at one time bought a huge bottle of the body lotion, which was something to die for... so, if your son thinks that this newer version is absolutely terrible, I understand him fully, and totally agree!! Sadly. But, there are other lovely fragrances in the world, thank God!

I’m loving this fragrance review with your son! 😀 White Linen came out in the late 70’s-79ish. It came out with 3 sister fragrances that could be layered with each other. One of the others was Celedon but I don’t remember the other two at the moment. White Linen was my favorite. I wonder if it smells like I remember…🤔

This video of you and your son reviewing scents together is very cute! The way he expressed his opinion was hilarious 🤣 😂😃 Your boy is very smart! He is so right in regards to Oud Bouquet. It was one of my blind buys, I did not pick up the insect repellent scent but I was not too impressed anyway. You took me back to the late 80’s when I used to take a stroll at shopping malls and spot little TV sets playing promotional videos at perfume counters. Very often I was given free samples. I recall trying Fracas by Robert Piguet (very strong tuberose) and almost getting a headache 😮 And ads for Poison by Dior in its iconic dark green bottle (very strong scent) were everywhere. In the early 90’s there were ads for Chanel’s Egoïste for men (egoïste means ‘selfish’ in French) and a friend of mine used to joke she was going to give a bottle to her boss because he was extremely cheap😅😅😅 She loved Anaïs Anaïs 🙂

I wore Poison in high school and my mom wore Chanel No 5, Shalimar, Opium (which I never liked), we both wore Samsara as soon as it was released (in the 90's) she wore Anne Klein 2 in the late 90's and 2000's and I wore Ralph EDT by Ralph Lauren and I still LIVE that fragrance! It performs really, really well for an EDT.

I wore Estée Lauder White Linen in the early 80’s and I loved it. Then I recently ordered a bottle- they’ve changed the formula. Disappointing. It smells very soapy now. And I found it did not last. I truly miss the original formula.

I have to try a sample of Amarige. Anais Anais…I can’t believe it smells that bad. I was gifted a bottle when I was in high school in the 70’s. I wore it some but wasn’t my favorite. I remember it being a soft and soapy floral. It has probably changed a lot since the 70’s. How about Rive Gauche? Have you ever smelled that one? It was popular in the later 70’s but had been around a long time even then if I remember correctly. No one on KZbin talks about it. It’s still around and not cheap like a lot of the older fragrances that have been out for decades. It’s a classic.

I overspray all my fragrance including oud bouquet because my skin eats up scents like no other so body chemistry plays a major part.. shaghaf oud don't last on me seems like it dissipates off my skin I love it just wish it had better performances tfs

Hi Alma! Thank you for watching! 💖 Yes, Spirito Fiorentino has some BR540 vibes. Not a dupe, but there are similarities. For a powerhouse fragrance, I prefer Spirito. If you want something a bit softer and with a more feminine touch, BR540 is your choice. BOTH gorgeous though! Check out Al Haramain Amber Oud Gold and Rouge for two super atomic fragrances. 😉😉😉

My body chemistry is challenging. There is a Be Layered inspiration for the Baccarat extrait being offered today. May get it, but I really have to control my parfum proclivity!!!

I just smelled a sample of the Estée Lauder private collection tuberose and gardenia yesterday (looking for my wedding fragrance) and I love it but for some reason the first ten minutes I smell jasmine? Which makes no sense 😂 I like it however, but I’m going for ellenisia by penhaligons for the wedding x
