Talk about a trip down memory lane , I have all those albums except for the Mad Season one , I remember going to see all the bands every year at the Edgefest festival they use to hold back in the day at Molson Park in Barrie , top albums for me for grunge would be … 1. Nirvana - Nevermind 2. Alice in Chains - Dirt 3. Pearl Jam - Ten 4. Soundgarden - Superinknown 5. Temple of the Dog

Good list, this is one of my favorite genres. Some of my favorites are Nirvana Nevermind Stone Temple Pilots Purple Smashing Pumpkind Siamese Dream Pearl Jam vs Soundgarden Badmotorfinger Alice in Chains Dirt Hole Live Through This Temple of the Dog Mad Season Above L7 Bricks are heavy I tried to pick one album per band.

Great list and I was surprised. I too would have chosen Vs over Ten. I have Dirt as my #1 and Core #2, but much respect for picking Purple.. thanks for doing this.

If Mad Season Above is on the list, it’s legit. Considering the members involved, the story behind it, the time it was released, and the epic as fuck show they did in Seattle.. nothing represents “grunge” better, imo. ..Oh and every song on it is a banger.

Great list except for the Canadian bands.😂 as a teenager in the 90s, the album 10 Was Way better and much more influential than Vs. Core was also a better album from Stone Temple Pilots. That being said, thanks for the list. Always fun to reminisce.
