Funny story about Exodia Necross ruining a friendship: An old friend and I were at the store and my mom let us both get a pack. He picks one but put it back, so I grabbed it -- it had Necross. Neither of us could use it but he was super jealous, thinking it should've been his (literally telling me so), and stole it when he spent the night. He bragged about stealing it to a mutual friend (who then told me), I got it back, and learned who my real friends are. Even if it's useless, Exodia Necross has sentimental value to me

I used to love Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon. I really want a re-train of it that's actually worth it. Maybe one that summons off of any Blue-Eyes Fusion monster? i.e the Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon. No janky fusion spell, just need 2 blue-eyes on board which is basically a standard xyz play.

Blue Eyes needs a variant along the lines of the Metal version off Red Eyes. Maybe build it off the Chaos or the Solid version and let us have Blue Eyes Shining Chaos Dragon or Blue Eyes Solid Shining Dragon with an effect that isnt focused on just the Blue Eyes archtype but dragons as a whole (like Darkness Metal Dragon).

@@KingChiggy I think all of the decks just kinda need to decide what they want to do. Is Red-eyes Beatdown? Burn? Swarm? Xyz? Control? Fusion? Blue-eyes has synchro, fusion, Xyz, ritual starts. DM is a bit more coherent, I think, being all about control but even that has issues. A blue-eyes version of REDMD might be funky, if a little unnecessary with a lot of overlap. Depending on what it does of course. Protects dragons instead of swarming? Similar to Azure-Eyes but a bit less gimmicky? Possibilities.

@@rastrisfrustreslosgomez544 Blue-eyes is beatdown in a fashion but when I think of beatdown I think of Ancient Gears. Blue-eyes doesn't get to the insane OTK numbers. It's just a steady flow of power. Not bad but maybe the beatdown strat could use more oomph. Or at least more consistent oomph. Red-Eyes being Burn would be nice. Or if it could have used all of its different strategies a little more cohesively. A way to cherry-pick all the best bits and tie it all together.

@@TheForeverRanger Necross was subject to the nerfing most cards had at the time when being adapted from the show. There his effects were subject to Exodia being in the GY: the head gave battle protection, the legs gave S/T protection respectively, left arm gave monster effect protection, and right arm a 1K perma-boost after battling a monster. He also didn't have the self-destruct. Kaiba had banished all the pieces with Soul Demolition then attacked with BEWD. As usual the anime version was superior given the monster effect protection, no self-destruct, and a better, more active boosting ability. The only pro the real-life counterpart had was that you didn't need to pay 2K to summon him. Maybe the retrain could recover 1 banished piece a turn to the GY or have an effect if he leaves the field and possibly work along side Exodius, Exodia Incarnate, or Obliterate. The cumulative effects would be based on number and not exact pieces with 1 being battle protection and 5 the boost. He wouldn't necessarily need omni-protection, just destruction protection.

Nah, the full title of this video is "Hardest to summon but not worth it" Zushin is an absolute bitch to summon but full immunity to card effects and stronger than anything it battles, it is worth the summon if you can pull it off, just make sure your opponent don't have a Kaiju

Just send 4 different dragons from the extra deck and 1 predaplant chimera rafflesia, search miracle synchro fusion nest standby phase and you can just follow up with it. Basically you can splash zarc in any ritual deck if you feel like with just 1 real brick

You can actually use Theinen with Mound of the Bound Creator and make him a beatstick that can't be targeted, which if you are playing the card, that is the way to go. Also, fun fact about Shining Dragon is that it couldn't even be played legally for a little while since BEUD hadn't even been released yet in English at the time of the movie's release.

Funny thing with an old banlist (prelinks) I used to run a deck that could 1 turn zarc by abusing monarchs (yes the deck that is anti extra deck) it relies on the monarch with the effect that allows you to tribute one card when summoned and then send to graveyard cards equal to the level of the tribute (the deck used the tribute of the card with the effect to send the materials to summon 2 copies of zarc (the main issue was reaching the fusion spell).

You will be able to summon Neos Wiseman pretty much for free with the new support called "Elemental HERO Neos Kluger" . You still need Yubel + Neos for him, but he's a fusion now and floats into Wiseman. Pretty nice an powerful

Other dishonorable mentions I would nominate: -Fushioh Richie. It's a Lv 9 Zombie with a pseudo-Flip effect that basically makes it a gargantuan Zombie Master. It would work great in a Zombie deck...except you have to use Great Dezard, a Lv 6 Spellcaster with 1900 ATK, to summon it, and IT has to kill TWO monsters in battle to do so. You're hamstringing a Lv 6 Spellcaster with Lv 4 stats into a Zombie deck just to get Zombie Master 2.0. -Spirit of the Pharaoh. A 2500-ATK Zombie that summons 4 Lv 1-2 Normal Zombies from GY on summon. You summon it with the effect of the continuous spell, The Third Sarcophagus...which can only be activated by the effect of the continuous spell, The Second Sarcophagus...which in turn can only be activated by the effect of the continuous TRAP, The First Sarcophagus. If you can pull this off, you can pull off an instant win with Destiny Board, so do that instead. -EVERY SINGLE ACE MONSTER FROM EVERY STRUCTURE DECK BEFORE DINOSAUR'S RAGE. The ones that all required you to Tribute a specific monster to summon and who had mediocre effects AT BEST. The only one that was close to worthwhile was Neo-Daedalus, which could turn Umi into a field AND hand nuke. Other than that they were just...crap.

Wiseman can be summoned pretty easily now by crashing a Neos Kluger into something your opponent controls. If you really want to cheese him out, just give them a Kaiju, summon Verte, use Verte's eff to send Neos Fusion to summon Kluger then crash Kluger into the Kaiju you just gave them. BAM, free Wiseman, no need to draw your whole deck using Six Samurais. it's still an awful play but he's no longer unsummonable

To be honest, the Pyramid of Light Sphinxes has no summon restriction to them (besides Theinen), except to not be summoned from the graveyard, so the new Melffy cards can make use of them; Fenny can search them from the deck, Catty can get them out on the field during the opponent's turn, negating their summon sickness.

Combine that with Mound of the Bound Creator and your opponent is in for a bad time until they blow up the field spell. Then you just drop Sphere Mode on them the next turn since you can search it off of Mound's effect.

Zarc isn't too hard to make in an odd eyes deck with a decent hand. Make meteor burst, summon odd eyes from scale. Overlay for absolute dragon. Link way with another material for any link 2. Absolute traggers to summon vortex dragon. Link the link 2 with the vortex for verte anaconda. Use effect of verte with miracle synchro fusion and the materials in grave for the summon. Materials in grave will be the synchro meteor burst, xyz absolute dragon, fusion vortex dragon and odd eyes pendulum dragon. Doesn't happen all the time but happens often enough that I keep a cheeky miracle synchro fusion in the deck incase it ever comes up

Honorable mention: Crimson Nova Trinity the Dark Cubic Lord. Aka the Cubic Fusion monster you never summon if you run Cubics, because if you do, you might as well summon the 3 regular Crimson Novas. Hell, 1 Crimson Nova can win you a game by itself. But having 3 monsters you can’t Normal Summon/Set (you have to hard draw or banish Karma for all 3 of them) means that Summoning Trinity isn’t worth it.

Exodia Necross is definitely easy to summon. Just send all 5 Exodia pieces with Future Fusion, then get "Contract with Exodia" by using "Left Arm Offering".

404 Spirit of the Pharaoh is not found. Also Wiseman is much easier to summon thanks to Elemental HERO Neos Kluger which is a Fusion of Neos and Yubel. (Edit: I found out it is called Spirit of the Pharaoh after rewatching Rata's video. God that card sucks. There is a NORMAL SPELL CARD THAT DOES THE EXACT SAME THING!)

Theinen is actually easy to pull out. I don't know what is so hard about it. Pyramid of Light to Special Summon Andro and Teleia, and Seal of Orichalcos to destroy them both at the same time. And as a bonus, Theinen now has 4000 ATK

And here i am, wondering, how Theinen got such a high spot on the list after summoning it several times against an eldlich variant of a friend. I used a pure cat deck and used "rescue cat" to get "number 29: mannequin cat" on board and using it's effect to special summon the first two sphinx monsters from the deck.

IIRC the PenMags who are treated as an “Fusion/Synchro/Xyz/Pendulum Dragon”, like the Archetypes, not as a Dragon-type Fusion/Synchro/Xyz/Pendulum monster.

that is correct. Its actually quite confusing since the materials on Z-Arc are the types, but the effect of Chrono/Astro to fusion summon him are the names. So you can't poly with the Pend Mages, but you can Chronograph them

Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon has such an awesome design, it sucks that it's terrible. They even removed it's effect of Tributing itself to destroy any card on the Field. ... I don't even get how they convinced themselves that effect was too powerful for this card, so I'm just gone to assume it was a text space issue, and try and ignore all the other cards that have more text. Oh, and they also made it a nomi. In the movie, it just needed to be Summoned properly first, then it was fair game to Monster Reborn/Call of the Haunted/etc it from the GEE WHY.

Because it's a really old card. They didn't know how to design cards back then in a way that made sense. ...........That, and probably because it appeared in the anime at one point, and anime cards can be pretty weird sometimes.

It took me an hour to get that dumb little replay, I tried for an hour more to get something better, and couldn't. Screw trying to pull that off against someone in an actual match. Oh, and I also tweeked the deck, and now it's just as, if not more, possible to summon the following in the deck(side decking in consideration); Herald of Ultimateness, Blue Eyes Chaos MAX, Evil Hero Dark Gaia, Blue Eyes Shining Dragon, or, YOU KNOW, ACTUALLY PULLING OFF EXODIA LIKE LESS OF A FUCKING SCRUB. ...Necross has changed me.

Yubel’s pronoun would likely be “them”, as they could be intersex or hermaphrodite depending on if they have both sets of working genitalia or just traits of both male and female. Because it’s a children’s card game or the fact yubel is a demon, they would likely be intersex, because we can’t have sexual stuff in this game (or at least when yubel came out).
