A lot of metal fans clearly think sing higher = sing better. Ozzy had a very unique and iconic voice, a lot heavy metal singers that "sing better' sound very much alike
@themanwithnoname975220 күн бұрын
Dio not only sang higher(he could sing lower too..... coz more range) than Ozzy but also sang better than him in every sense of the word. Ozzy was a subpar vocalist technically speaking, not that he isn't iconic, he just can't hold a candle to a LOT of heavy metal singers. He made the list solely because he is famous and iconic. Also, Dio had a way more unique singing voice than Ozzy. The thing is you'd have to SING in the first place, Ozzy barely sang while Dio sang every style perfectly that most heavy metal vocalists can only dream of singing: Love is All Stargazer Don't Talk To Strangers The Last in Line Temple of the King Sign of the Southern Cross Catch the Rainbow Holy Diver Gates of Babylon All the fools sailed away Hey Angel etc. etc......... There's also irrefutable arguments to how Bruce Dickinson and Rob Halford are vastly superior to Ozzy but let's leave that for a while.
@lorenzomergen163016 күн бұрын

Can someone post a video of motorhead singing something other than Ace of Spades
@rickyallen717619 күн бұрын
I agree. Every time there's a video and Lemmy is in it. It's always Ace Of Spades. Eat The Rich, Overkill, Hellraiser, Born To Raise Hell, Iron Fist, and I Ain't No Nice Guy are really great Motorhead songs too.

I feel like even most Megadeth fans will admit he's far from a great singer. Amazing guitarist though

I think his voice is cool. Megadeth was my favorite of the big 4

The whole list is fine, but they could interchangeable in their order. All were absolutely the best 👌

- I fully support RJD being number one - I love Ozzy, but not way should he be in front of Dickenson, Halford, or Hetfield - I don't really consider Chester to be a heavy metal singer

Ozzy is there because of how important early Black Sabbath are to Metal. But purely from a singing ability standpoint, Ozzy doesn’t make a top 10 list

I'd have put a few of those closer to the top, but the list is gonna make a lot of people just grin and hit their youtube mixes and jam the fuck out. 😏

Ian Gillan doesn't make top 10? Ridiculous. That's Deep Purple for the younger crowd.
