I am not a Nurse Practitioner. I am just a Registered Nurse with a BS in Nursing. With 14 years experience in telemetry, I make over $ 200,000 per year working only 4 days (12 hour shift) per week in California. Some other specialized RNs in dialysis, ICU, ER etc can make $ 250,000 + per year. A nurse anesthetist can go up to $ 300,000 per year in California.

Thanks for sharing. About 5 of the top jobs require Computer Science degree...great. I graduated with BS in Computer Science in the 1990's. All the jobs went offshore. I had to do MS in Mathematics and became a HS Math teacher in NYC...no regret..will retire soon with a pension...very challenging job. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Famous, that is an interesting choice. In my experience, I have seen that getting scholarships basically depend upon your - academic background and social background. By academic background I mean your college scores, entrance exam scores. And your social background includes your participation in extra-curricular as well as social activities. @@yashpalcharan4935 hi Ashish, I've been digging info on how to become a pharamcist in USA from India. Right now, there's only one way.. that is, you need to have a pharmD degree, which is Doctor of pharmacy degree..and then write 2 exams in USA to get your license there and you can practice. As of the moment pharma diploma is not considered.. but you can do B.pharmacy here and then do masters there in USA to get jobs in industrial side of pharamcy.. but if your endgame is to work in the pharmacy, dispensing medicines in the USA, pharmD is the only way.

Hi.. I'm Anshuman..have done diploma in Electronics and Telecommunications.. With 70% marks....I couldn't continue my studies due to monetary pb n my sister's sickness... My parents tried their label best for her treatment but all in vein she passed away ..can I get a job in US so that I can help my parents.. Plz reply. .
