I can’t believe Hwarang rated higher than Kingdom. Or that Hwarang is in the list at all. So many noteworthy historical dramas - Moon Embracing the Sun, Love in the Moonlight, Red Sleeve, even Tale of Nokdu, to name a few. Currently, Joseon Attorney is pretty enjoyable.

Moon lovers: “That will make you want to travel back in time” that’s 🧢. This show is absolutely tragic. Often times true to history period dramas never have happy endings. They make you question humanity. It is a beautiful show and well acted but if you don’t want to be stuck in intense moments of sadness then this show is not for you. Can definitely leave you feeling empty (That’s how good it was). Beautiful but sad. I definitely don’t want to travel back in time.
