Rose being one of my fav notes I loved this video. I always use Istanbul rose oil from Arabian oud as a base it’s the best rose oil. Therefor won’t include it in my list but My top 10 strictly rose frags are: 1 - SOD Narjesi 2 - ASQ taif rose 3 - amouage rose incense 4 - POL 5 - LV les sables roses 6 - atomic rose 7 - lyric man Wouldn’t consider them strictly rose frags but gotta be on the list 8/9/10 Oud satin mood, blue sapphire, ombré nomad

I got a sample of Portrait of A Lady mostly based on your enthusiasm for the fragrance. It's definitely some beautiful stuff, but a little too floral and feminine for my taste. My favorite rose fragrances I've smelled so far are Montale Intense Cafe and Tom Ford Noir de Noir.

My favorites are; ▪︎ Frédéric Malle Portrait Of A Lady ▪︎ L'Artisan Parfumeaur Arcana Rosa No. 9 ▪︎ Le Labo Rose 31 And that's about it that I can think of off the top of my head. Tom Fords Cafe Rose is ok too, not sure it's a full bottle buy for me though.

I finally purchased Oud Satin Mood. I mean one of the best fragrances I own. I'm not a collector with hundreds of fragrances. I do own around 27 fragrances. I absolutely adore Oud Satin Mood. I also see why this fragrance is in the top three rose for every reviewer. I did blind buy. Perfect choice

I have a list of fragrances to purchase this year(one per month). Oud Satin Mood is for August, why August? It's my birthday(5Aug1971) I will be the best smelling Man on August 5th. I was at Isle of Capri and stumbled on fragrance factory Carthusia. Wow!!! The rose in Terra Mia is soft. This cologne rocks! The coffee note is the best ever. Carthusia is popular in Italy. Im in Nice right now and the cologne stores are numerous. Any you want me to try ?

I love the smell of rose based fragrances I just don’t have situations where I could wear them. I have a sample of zaharoff signature Rosé but I can’t see wearing that to work.

I only have 1 rose scent (Adonis Awakens) but I mostly wear it on date nights with my wife, especially if we're doing an at home date night. She looooves it on me, but it really doesn't fit "my style" as I see it, so I don't wear it to work. Which is fine because it's not cheap! She wears it occasionally too but says she's prefers to smell it on me more than herself
