My favorites: Skinamarink (I surrendered to it and it shook me. I was 5 again and afraid of the dark.) Hell House LLC:Origins (Scariest thing I saw all year.) Talk to Me When Evil Lurks (🐶) The Boogeyman (instantly became my favorite monster in the closet movie ever. PG-13 and it scared the crap outta me.) Evil Dead Rise (🤘)

Evil Dead Rise 6. Infinity Pool 7. The Passenger 8. The Wrath of Becky 9. Candy Land 10. M3GAN Two honorable mentions are Totally Killer and Sick.

No one will save you, I have to totally agree with you there, that was a bit of of a surprise for me but it’s right up my alley too. I love fire in the sky and I thought this was a really well done alien movie. I actually wrote this comment before I heard you even reference fire in the sky that’s hilarious. As for talk to me, and when evil lurks both of them, I had very high expectations going in, like really high, and I found talk to me was good, like 7 out of 10 for me I didn’t find it super scary but I still thought it was a good movie. I saw when evil lurks coming a mile away man everybody’s gonna be picking that as their number one. I thought it was very well-made and a good film that had some creepy and gory moments. Definitely one of the glorious I’ve seen since Terrifier 2 last year. But I didn’t find it really scary at all it felt like a really well-made sort of theatrical version of the last of us on steroids or something. I just kept hearing it was supposed to be so scary and I wanted it to be so bad I guess I probably built it up too much. I do think it was really well-made and a solid 7.5/10 which for me is a great movie. I think it’s gonna be topping a lot of lists this year though for sure. Solid list Mike 👍

My favorite is When Evil Lurks for sure! One of the best horror films in a few years, in my opinion. Hard to watch, horrifying, creative, well acted. Its like Hereditary or The Silence of The Lambs or Martyrs. A perfect film, but very hard to watch and not "fun" at all. I dont know if I want to watch it again, but it is a true horror film.

I didn't like Evil Dead: Rise, I didn't hated it either. Is just that it lacks the kind of actual humour you will get from a Raimi film. It neither tries to follow the brutal serious tone of Alvarez take. It was just lacking in plenty of areas including the dialogue. It felt rough. But it was watchable. And fun until certain angle.
