Alien 3 would have been much better if they hadn't killed of Hicks and Newt at the beginning, and had somehow found a way to work them into the story. Killing those beloved characters started the movie on such a sour note that it tarnished the rest of the film.

Alien 3 was going to be much darker originally. There was a deleted scene of Newt's autopsy and her corpse would've been shown in grisly detail. It's no wonder why the scene got cut. It's bad enough killing a child character the audience grew attached to in-between films, but to show a child autopsy would just be downright depressing.

I hate Alien 3. I truly hate it!! Killing off Hicks and Newt in the opening credits, is unforgiving. Cameon wrote these great characters, loved by fans and they just kill them off, like they wewre nothing in Alien 3. The production ended up paying Michael Biehn a lot of money to be allowed to use his likeness for a picture of a dead Hicks. Serves them right. The movie itself sucked too. And I really hated that apart from Ripley, Bishop and Mr. Weyland the entire cast was british. And there was only one Xenomorph. Not scary at all, after an armny of Xenomorphs in Aliens.

It's a terrible film. Bland and brown, god awful cg, did all the heavy stuff off screen (killed off the entire Aliens cast) and wasn't coherent. The director hates it, the actors aren't proud of it, and you just want to be a contrarian.

Saw 3 is my favorite of the franchise. True the torture is amped up considerably but it's actually got some decent acting and a pretty straightforward premise

The Fly II is an excellent movie that actually presents a protagonist who, if anything, is even more sympathetic than his father in the original. I have yet to meet a horror fan who wasn't deeply affected by the subplot about his dog. Zuniga and Stoltz were terrific, it had a solid story and the practical effects are outstanding. It never should have been included on this list.

Honorable Mention: *Terrifier 2 -Make no mistake. Terrfier 2 is not a bad movie. In fact, it actually manages to top the original. So why is it in the honorable mentions? Well, the film's violence was way too much for the faint of heart. So much so that some people (allegedly) fainted, got physically sick and vomited, causing people to walk out. Sooo... congratulations?

I haven't seen any of those 3 flicks. Clowns are stupid and in no way scary to me, so I can't watch anything clown-related no matter how gory it might be. I've been meaning to just watch a few kills here on YT just to see what the hype is about but I always forget.

I’d argue the case for “The Fly” being Cronenberg’s sci-fi calling card as though it’s a superb film and a rare case of a superior remake “Videodrome” from 3 years earlier in 1983 was the film that, first me, cemented his astounding legacy and body-horror mind-fucks. Yes, Rabid, The Brood and Scanners were all great films but Videodrome blew me away and continues to do so all these years later … … as for The Fly 2 it’s an inferior film for sure but it’s not horrendous if only because of the Bartok mutant dog man finale!

Return of the Living Dead 2. 1st one was a good, dark zombie movie with fast, immortal zombies. Part 2 wasn't the worst of the sequels. 3 was boring. 4 and 5 were bad and reconning the zombies. But 2 was were they could have gone down a great path but decided to go with a humor that didn't pan out. It had potential but it went too far 1) deveating from the style of the 1st and went to far 2) from cutting costs, as seen by the new tarman

Finally! I'm not the only one who sees that the Final Destination movies are literally about Death being a Rube Goldberg device. I only needed to watch one of the movies to see how deluded a concept the entire series was. Definitely a case in which they should have left well enough alone with the first film; then you have only one silly-assed film to defend, rather than a bunch of them.

I enjoy The Fly 2 it was a creative body horror and great score. As did the Goldblum predecessor. I wouldn't say either cronenberg film can be described as 'charm' that word better describes the Vincent Price duology.

Fun fact the sequel was set after the ending in the American version of The Descent. Yep the British made horror film has two endings depending on which version you saw the British version has a much more darker ending as the ending of the British version reveals the main heroine never escaped that whole escape scene was a dream sequence and she's still trapped in the cave with The Crawlers whereas the American version has an ending that leads into the sequel which is the lead heroine escapes from the cave.

Why does _Halloween 6_ get crapped on, but not _Jason Goes to Hell_ when it's guilty of a lot of the same thing? I actully like The Fly 2 Its a B movie, yes. But considering its the directorial debut of the guy that made the special effects on the original, its pretty good. Eric Stoltz is really good as Martin Brundle and Lee Richardson is particularly good as the very evil owner of Bartok Industries, the company that funded Seth Brundles teleports in the original movie. Ans what do you mean by charm?? Its a horror movie, not a drama.
