Very well-explained. This video makes a great extra resource for anyone just learning the lines.

@@KestonyHello. At 8:07, why doesn't White push with c5? I play the King's Indian and one of the main themes there is the f-pawn break can be pushed to fully close the position.

Amazing explanation, thank you for your explanation. I would also like to understand middlegame strategies with the QG.

Very nicely explained! I am currently approaching 1500 level and getting sick of playing the London system, this video really helped explain this opening simply. One question: many sources have said to bring the knight out or push E4 directly after accepting, which move is best?
@Kestony Жыл бұрын
I am happy to read this was helpful to you. After they accept the gambit, e4, e3 and Nf3 are all very good moves. There is no move among the three that is tangibly better than the others.

Great video as always! I notice that there very few resources on youtube to learn about the Queen's Indian Defense, I would really like to see a video on the opening similar to the style of this video!

Thank you James, I will definitely do a video on Queen's Indian Defense since that's one of the most reliable defenses against d4.

Nice opening ideas video-thanks. I would have liked the QG Declined ideas to start from first moves though, with a brief comment on the QGAccepted/QGDeclined positions differences (just being greedy & wanting more bang for the buck!) ;-)

Isn't the ingenious queen move a blunder because they would begin the trades with their bishop first not the knight then they're threatening your queen and check when they have a knight there instead??
