Hi Zahira. My favorite was the lighting in the kitchen. I'm so confused on what type of lighting to use on top of my island and on my breakfast nook to create harmony. I also liked the under cabinets lights but don't think they will fit perfectly and neatly in mine because there is no overlap that can hide them

God bless: repent, trust, and believe in Jesus and be saved. There’s trouble in the World but Jesus has overcome it. Trust in Him and be truly set free. Free from the troubles, pains, and desires of this world. Even those things that you secretly justify even when they’re wrong, you can be set free from. Through God’s Word you will become new, not being bound to your wrong doings. May this message fill your heart, there may still be struggles, but now with God you have help and hope, from God, who knows all things. May God bless you and may you be filled with love. John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Best tip I have is - use your area before doing expensive and extensive renovations, especially in the kitchen. When we bought our house, we did some simple cosmetic repairs as it was built in the 50s, but left the biggest ones like kitchen and livingroom for last, because we wanted to see how the space will be utilized the best and what is the easiest way to maintain it (eg. a roomba will require certain height of furniture and space to move around in order to be most effective). Moving around furniture, experimenting with wall colour by painting over old wallpapers, wall panels and lighting is easily mocked up as a weekend project and can save you a lot of money when you're doing it properly in the future. It's easy to get inspiration from Pinterest and magazines, but not all concepts work within your space, so it's always worth testing it out first.

I loved every item mentioned until now! thanks for sharing. 1) faucets: I'd love to have a black faucet, but I'm not sure if water stains will appear. Any tips/experiences on that? 2) plants: I'd have herbs as plants in the kitchen 3) in-cabinet cans: kind of necessary and ideal under sinks. 4) decor: I think I will just use a cutting board as decor because my future kitchen will be really small. 5) storage: I have been drawing every tool in my future kitchen :D I have space for spice jars and storage jars. Even though I haven't been cooking until now, maybe having all that will encourage me to cook more :D 6) handles: I like the minimal contemporary style so I will only use the necessary flat handles for fridges. Nowadays even dishwashers don't need handles anymore :D 7) under cabinet lighting: very necessary for me. I have always used led-strips under the cabinets, but I am looking forward to the next video about kitchen lighting :D 8) my only natural element would be the cutting board. But I'm not sure if I will show it on the kitchen counter or hide it in a cabinet. 9) my future kitchen will have a dining table as a kitchen island. Maybe I'll use decorative lamps over the table. But I'm not sure, since the table will only be 120 cm (47 inches) 10) there is a typo in the video :D decorative ladders are quite expensive. I have a steel ladder that I hide in the cabinet.

Hi, Anny!! Wao, thanks for sharing! I just changed my old faucet to a matte black, I have a few months with it, and so far, I have not seen any stains. Obviously, this type of material needs more delicate care, but it will also depend on the quality of the product. Regarding the lighting for the island, overhead light will always be more effective to avoid unwanted shadows. However, each case will have a different solution, but keep in mind the light and the shadow it will produce. Thanks for sharing all this. I was delighted to hear from you. Btw, thanks for informing me of the typo, my fault when editing the video.

Besides changing trash bags frequently, how do we minimize odors if using the pull out trash containers? Thank you!
@barbarablackmon78073 жыл бұрын
Don't use pull-out trash containers. They stink and permeate the wood of the surrounding cabinets. I never understood the rationale for doing so. Stand alone trash cans with a lid that closes are far more hygienic in my opinion. The line/company called Simple Human found on-line, at Home Goods, the Container Store, etc. has very high quality trash cans which closing lids.
@DSigners3 жыл бұрын
I take out the garbage almost daily, depends on how much and what I have cooked. Also, so often, I wash the garbage container. I have never had a bad smell with the pull-out trash system. In my particular case, I don't like to see a garbage bin in the kitchen. The pull-out trash it's very functional to me. I really love it. As I explain in the video, evaluate how you use your space to buy the correct elements you need and are functional for your particular case.

@@barbarablackmon7807 the rationale is that you don’t have to look at your trash can! It ruins the aesthetic of the kitchen and looks like an add-on. If you take the trash out frequently enough there is no reason the smell should permeate.
