Good ideas, but a mirrored backsplash seems like a cleaning nightmare in anything but a show kitchen. They are called backSplashes for a reason.

I recently purchased a small round table from the futon company that swivels and flips to make it even smaller, and it took me less than 20 minutes to assemble

Can you recommend an interior design school that offers masters program in Europe for international students.

Terrific video. But please stop using the multimedia, like adding a photo, with annoying fake camera shutter sounds or odd clicking noises. It’s very distracting and cheapens your classy presentation. 👍

This is the most helpful video I’ve seen for small spaces. I’ve watched numerous designers, but your video gives visuals of what you advise. That’s priceless. Thank you! These lighter tone rooms are beautiful. Also, you explain WHY your ideas work for a small living room.

My experience is open shelves are terrible to clean, as bathrooms accumulate dust plus limescale, and they attract clutter. Use cabinets with doors where possible.

Am planning to incorporate a bar unit of 16" of protrusion from the wall...in a usable room size of 100" by 120" excluding the traffic passage... And a dining area near window for an appealing view of my small garden and fountain. So the last few designs like wall mounted seating would work perfect for this purpose. Would like to thank you so much for your wonderful efforts for teaching.

My bathroom is all white but it has a grey marble floor and I do not know what color of toilet rug to put in it . Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks
@annking1576Ай бұрын
@chinwenwabuoku5402. Amazon has a ton of rugs. Believe I saw a gradient grey which would go with the marble - unless you want a pop of color - or maybe a Monet rug & shower curtain.

I am working on the lighting plan for our kitchen (new construction). I am interested in having recessed lighting or mounted ceiling lighting for task lighting. Is it more important that these lights be placed strategically for lighting areas for kitchen tasks, rather than evenly spacing them out? Can recessed lighting be both ambient and task lighting in a kitchen space? Thanks so much. I learned a lot from your video.

I have to wonder how accessible towels are that are stored at 7 feet above the floor. Only for people who are basketball pros.
@annking1576Ай бұрын
@sherrywallis7718. How high is your ceiling? Watch tiny homes - not sure which 1 but they do ceiling drop down storage drawers. Even if you rent you could put in a free standing frame of 2x4s & some attached going across & attach the drawers to them to support the weight. The drawers pull down - so would be good for towels, linens. Or have larger/deeper drawers with dividers/ slots cut to hold specific sizes of sealed/ unopened containers - maybe with elastic across them.

Hi Zahira How would you proceed in an old building if half of the walls are (horizontally) panelled, the door frames and doors are also somewhat ornate and the ceilings are partially stuccoed? I want to give the whole thing a modern look, but without losing the sublime Art Nouveau style. Best, David

Hi, if you do not mind, could you share your opinion with me? I am redoing my bathroom of (L) 2.4m x (W) 1.5m x (H) 2.8m with wall and floor tile of the same colour (whitish grey). I was advised by my contractor to use 60cm x 30cm floor tile to help with water drainage. I wanted 60cm by 60cm wall tile but I see more bathroom of my size using 60x30 wall tiles being lay horizontally. Do you think using 60by60 for the wall is a bad move?
