And he's also easily the best leader in the team, both in the way he plays and acts, as well as how verbal he is on the pitch, relentlessly urging players not to slack off, and keep their head in the game. He wouldn't be Klopps captain if he wasn't a natural leader.

Charles Stiles I know this is an old comment, but how can you say he doesn’t have leadership, there’s a reason why he has been captain for so long, and even the likes of Virgil has said that Henderson is the best captain because of what he does both on and off the pitch! He may not be the best midfielder in the world, but his role in the team is crucial! Instead of judging by goals or assists look at the work he puts in every match! He is an engine that works tirelessly for the team! Best captain we could have, and now he has lifted the Champions League trophy! We love Hendo, the skipper ❤️

Every person who said he is unable to fit with a world class team don't understand football... Football is about win the games, and Henderson gave everything he have to this objective.. because his role was for long to secure the midfield some people think he is bad... but constant pressing, anticipating, giving instructions to others, perfect passing, never put the team in danger...are not worse qualities than dribbling or scoring goals.. Yeah and this has really been show in recent years, we've only lost 2 games with him in midfield in the last 3 seasons for example abd without him we've lost 28%, last season it was quite easy to tell how important he was as we had lost 0 games with him and were top of the league but when he left the midfield and got injured later we could barely even win
