I think the reason the Sauropod deaths hit us the way they do is because they really are the thing that represents the good part of the park. Back in Fallen Kingdom I told a friend when the Brachiosaur dies on the island, it's the end of the wonder. The shift to the Indoraptor means what's left is the terror. I don't think we've ever seen anything really menacing from the Sauropods. They aren't trying to step on anyone or anything. They are just these amazing creatures. It's why they really are the first dinos we see in the original movie. Then we get reminded of the threat when we move to the Raptor pen.

The death of the Baryonyx was a bit of a reality check. So often in the Jurassic series do we see people shooting at dinosaurs and the dinosaurs just shrug it off if they notice it at all. That scene shows that dinosaurs are still at the mercy of human weaponry and the main reason why armed people are killed by dinosaurs is that they lose or damage their weapons or are too panicked to stop and aim properly. Or they are using non-lethals, like the ACU that got absolutely slaughtered. You mentioned Dieter from The Lost World. He's played by Peter Stormare (a Swedish actor) and in the scene where he gets chased by compies he curses in Swedish. It's hard to hear, but I think he says "Helvetes ödlor. Helvetes jävla skit." which roughly translates to "Hell's lizards. Hell's damn shit". He's also armed with a G3, a black one that looks just like the Ak 4 used by the Swedish army. It's possible that there's some untold lore about him stealing his weapon from the army to become a mercenary. However, "Dieter" is a German name, not a Swedish one.

Even in a animated series, this series has a total collection of death scenes and kills which seems really brutal and so dark which reminds me of Dinosaur 2000, The Speckles series and The Land Before Time where it has a handful of deaths which seems really dark. Wait, that shot of the two baryonyxs in the boat reminds me of something... SPOILERS FOR SEASON 3 UNDERNEATH Y'know how there was a hole in the boat and at the very end of the season, there was a dino in the boat? What if Limbo decided to get in the boat. He tried to make a hole in it to enter but failed. But when the kids were with the Ouranosauruses, then Limbo decided to use the dock cause of the fog to get in the boat. I mean, they got onto the boat so whats stoppin them to get through a door? Im only saying Limbo cause Chaos is the colour blue and looks VERY SIMILAR TO the baryonyx in fallen kingdom. Tiff and Mitch has some *supplies* on the boat which were very *important* which *defintley weren't party supplies such as fireworks and more* . So, Limbo coupd have just went on and told Chaos "Im gonna be back, i found some kids on that boat from earlier" but then he got interested in the supplies so he stayed there.

That parasaurolophus seemed pretty small next to the kids in comparison to the parasaurolophus in the lost world. Like the one in the opening of season 2 is a juvenile.

They're ALL ridiculously small in Camp Cretaceous! This has miffed me since season 1. In the movies, especially The Lost World, the Parasaurs are massive. But in Camp Cretaceous they're so small that I like to call these tiny Paras "prehistoric ponies". You might say they're juveniles but EVERY Para in the show is this size, so they totally screwed up their size. When Darius and the gang arrive at the park and see the herd for the first time, the Paras look so fricking minuscule next to the other herbivores, even the Ankylos tower over them, and Ankylos aren't that tall!

@@cintronproductions9430 yea true maybe dr wu geneticly altered the jurassic world parasaurolophus to be smaller. And the Site B parasaurolophus are massive cause they aren't being geneticly altered by humans so they just get bigger through reproduction.
