It ain't Lewis' job, or that of any other fighter, to watch his opponent's condition and stop himself in the middle of a fight. It's the ref's job to pay attention to the condition of both fighters and stop them if one is knocked out. Lewis goes until he's told to stop, exactly like he's supposed to.
