John Mayer and Korn are my inspirations, when it comes to writing Music!!....Yes polar opposites of emotion.....for some reason, my brain clicks with "C" Scale Blues.......and also with Drop "A" Metal on 7 string......Metal is my unloading of energy and negative stuff, and Blues is my relaxation......it really keeps me balanced.

Head and Munky are solely responsible for the birth of my love for heavy, alternative music. Their ambient, atmospheric style with fusions of Hip-Hop, Funk..backed by David’s head nodding groove? they’ve really helped me enjoy music and step out of my comfort zone into a genre I might have not discovered and delved into otherwise.

It’s A standard, so imagine D standard on a 6 string but then the lowest string above is A

Also the last string tuned to D is a 7th string so for everyone else with a 6 string guitar it's ADGCFA

I've never had an issue with Korn's riffs as much as their lyrics. As they went on Jonathan really seemed to run out of ideas on what to sing about or at least do so in a catchy way.

I personally find most of Korn extremely boring, however the contributions of Korn to heavy music cannot be understated. 7 string (and 8 string) guitars would not be where they are without Munky and Head.
