Funnily enough 13 wishes Lagoona is one of my favorite Lagoona's, I love how blue her skin is and I just think yellow and blue look so nice together

I agree with your list on all but Cleo. I actually like her better than the core Cleo 😅 but I’ve never seen either one in real life so perhaps that would change my life. The Save Frankie Draculaura’s face looks so close to a G2 Draculaura, I almost thought she was one until I remembered you were just ranking G1 MH dolls 😂

The implications of fresh water Lagoona really make me uncomfortable, when I think about it. She literally changed races for a guy who tbh isn’t even worth it😭

I would get the Save Frankie Drac and switch out the dress to something with black and that pretty metallic crimson I saw them use in one of the G3 Dracs, a recent one, love her in deep crimson and I would keep everything else (except the sign, LOL!) I like the pops of yellow also. 👍

It's interesting to me that most G1 Dolls just don't hit for me. I don't know if it's because I wasn't around for them and I'm constantly hyped about G3 news or if it's the diverse body types and the brighter fashions or what. The two exceptions are Haunted (which I think is actually G2?) and Boo York. Edit - ok looked at the wiki and found some other exceptions, but I think they'd all look better on the new body types ❤️

Haunted is G1. I bought Haunted Clawdeen. I prefer G3 too but I've bought some G1 dolls. I love Dead Tired, Haunted, Sweet Screams and Freak Du Chic lines. And the fairytale one.

Freshwater Lagoona doesn’t make sense because freshwater fish are usually not too bright in colour. While saltwater fish are.

Oh I love School's out Cleo. I think she is gorgeous. I love all the School's out line. Oh I love Dead tired Ghoulia too. Her face is so pretty with her soft make up. The only pyjamas dolls I really like are MH! I love Ghoulia's G1 face mold, so gorgeous!

I used to own Dance Class Howleen and i have no idea what happened to her, but i still have the body suit (which ended up on a Stacie doll) and the shoes (which ended up on a Rainbow Dash). I would love to own her again someday but i totally get your takes.

The context was that Frankie died in Freaky Fusion because she sacrificed herself for her friends & grandfather (who was a bullied orphan btw). The Save Frankie line is extremely weird and bizarre tho but the context behind it is very beautiful Id say.

The only ones I feel differently about are Frankie and Draculaura. I think the yellow shoes/belt/bow should have been a different color; but overall she is cute to me. I don't like yellow or most bright colors, so that doesn't work for me. I'm a big re-painter though, so that solves some of my issues with various dolls :) I was curious if you ever repaint anything on your dolls (I know you do faces); but I mean things like shoes, belts, etc. Have a great evening Sweetie :)

My opinion is that ugly dolls dont exist! I think any doll even if its a monster high doll or just a thrifted barbie would make a small girl happy! These dolls you just showed for us, I think they were made for kids to roleplay, because maybe they dont have detail, but for children detail doesnt matter, thats why they got rid of details in 2016-2018. But I think every monster high doll is still cute neither its g1, g2 or g3. (Thats my opinion, dont blame me please)

I love how your purple hair turned out. Also I definitely disagree with Freshwater Lagoona, I've always adored that doll, her outfit is so cute and detailed. Her color palette and deep skin just really works for me, so does the contrast with her bright hair. She's personally one of my biggest isos, she's so pretty to me. I want to comment but I’m just distracted by how good you look, that purple hair and esp that shawl!! It’s gorgeous!! Also yeah those dolls just do not bring me joy. I’m picky with what I like in g1 dolls and while they have some excellent ones, so many are just *bleh*. Eg: Scarnival drac or maul Monsteristas Clawdeen

Honestly all of the Geek Shriek dolls should've made the list.I get it that in the time where mh released this line having glasses made you "geeky" but seriously this line feels so uninspired... I think Mouscedes and Kala Marie from Great Scarier Reef should've made it to the list too!

The Ghouls Alive dolls look a lot better in person, and their gimmicks are actually super cool! Clawdeen's in particular is her howling at the moon, hence the eyelid thing lol. As a collector I appreciate what they were trying to do with Ghouls Alive, but they're def inferior versions of the originals aesthetic and quality wise

Yeah, I've got some of these ghouls. I'd just discovered Monster High and was devouring them at every turn. First Freak du Chic , (My first, my fave, because it melded with my lifelong interest in Jester, Mardi Gras , Circus , Clown, Harlequin, Pierrot, Carnival -themed dolls) then Ghouls Rule, Great Scarrier Reef (LOVE), Ghoul's Alive, 13 Wishes Haunt the Casbah.....it never ends... I even love the crimped hair & 80's aesthetic of Electrified. 🥰 It's an obsession at this point. 😆

Things I dislike in G1 Monster High dolls. 1. When classic boy dolls didn't have wrist articulation. 2. The boys' body are skinny, until G2 and G3. 3. I hate polypropylene hair. 4. I hate when clothing print aren't as good as they used too in later lines. 5. When the clothes looks generic and not as represented as there monster theme. mostly the budget lines clothes. 6. When doll faces are wonky.

Monster high always gave glasses to geeks - its not rlly special to geek shreek lol G3 clawdeen is a massive geek/nerd and she has very big goofy glasses So are jackson & ghoulia (in both g3 & g1) only difference is they have much better glasses I agree w u the greek shreek is a bad line but monster high also likes to give geeks glasses
