I’m 70 yrs old every time I hear Led riffs I say “What a great band”had all of it -vocals ,bass,drums .great guitar ,innovative songs etc.etc.etc.

ocean is my favourite Led Zeppelin song! The odd time signature really adds to it I think

It's 4/4 which least odd time signature there is. But Bonzo was the best at making 4/4 sound as interesting as possible. It's actually a great song to practice drumming as the each of the 4 bars of the intro loop are played differently which makes it sound 'odd' even though it's regular old 4/4. eg: 1st: k-s- 2nd: k-ss 3rd: kks- 4th: k-o- It's the 4th bar where you are expecting a snare but instead he opens the hi-hat that gives it the awesome groove.
