I appreciate it. I hope we can meet each other soon.

Maybe I am wrong, but linking my investment account with the Blossom application seems extremely risky! Eveyone is telling you not to give personal information on the web....if an investment account is not personal information I don't know what it is! 😀

We're going to have more and more options. Covered call ETFs are very popular and getting bigger every year. I still own some individual stocks, got burned on one recently and that got me thinking. Exactly what you said, you can play the market using ETF's no matter what your strategy is. It still makes sense to own individual stocks in certain situations but let's say your playing the oil market, it's probably way better just to get an ETF instead of betting on one company.

I have been contemplating taking a strong position in TXF since HYLD replaced it. However, as per your lessons, it might be better to increase my position in HYLD. Do you anticipate selling your split funds and increasing your position in an all in one ETF?

I still have my txf, and I have hyld. I'm not selling my txf at a ~20% loss in a registered account.

Thx for the video as always! Covered call ETFs give downside protection and provide yield while waiting for the market to recover, are great for bear market. Could you point out some of the downsides of using covered calls etfs? thx again!
@HamiltonRb Жыл бұрын
They don’t perform as well in a bull market, the fees are much higher and some covered call etf’s have stocks in them that you may not personally want ( similar to any etf). They are the only negatives I can think of personally

Nice video. My 2 cents, prices do matter because if a covered call ETF price crashes, it will take years to recover because it gives up the upside. But that doesn't matter if you don't have to sell

Nice video Adrian! The 10 lessons cover everything, especially lesson #6 and #9. 😀 I am a bit upset right now since the market keeps going up. 😯 I have been waiting to add some cheap shares. Is it too much to ask for a healthy pullback or a crash. 😛 Also agree that it is super easy to become a PII with so many good ETFs to choose from. But of course most people do not want easy, they want the hard way when comes to investing like stock picking. In summary, do not make life more difficult than it already is. Become a PII and start earning that sweet dividend today! ✊✊✊
