I purchased my first old silver quarter yesterday. Actually I bought 3 of them. A 1934, a 1935, and a 1946-D. I could be wrong, but it seems nearly impossible to find silver quarters & dimes while coin roll hunting, much less in pocket change.

I actually found a 44s about a year ago in change from coffee shop. I would check that 34 and 35 for DDO FS-101 because they are quite valuable and most coin shops don't know jack about varieties.

I have a 1974 VF5 quarter, and a 1967 AU52 quarter. On the 1974 quarter, you can see a very faint D mintmark on the reverse, mabye from a die error. I have about 30+ quarters in a bag plus 5 dimes, 4 nickels and 10 pennies. How much does it cost for the quarter, sir?

Looking for what is termed "scrap silver" can be a good source of pre-65 coins at a reasonable price. And you can always re-sell the ones you dont want. Thanx for watching

Please confirm it's the 1939-S in the 9th position instead of the 1936-S being shown on the video.

It should be the 1936 S in the #9 position as shown, the 1939 S is in the #4 position at a mintage of 2 628 000 My apologies for the confusion and thank you for pointing it out to me.

My quarter collection is my prized procession, I have two Dansco albums full , one is all BU except for the key dates but those are at least vf condition . I been working on my registry set for the last year and my goal is to be in the top 50 ! I’ll let you know if I ever get there lol. My 1943 mint set includes a 1943 quarter with obverse doubling on the "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "LIB" on Liberty. The quarter on the obverse has a crack beginning with "A going through U, Q" on the word Quarter with the crack travelling along the left wing of the eagle and reaches to the "U" in United. In the same mint set there is also a 1943 war nickle with 180' planchet rotation. All coins in the mint set are BU mint condition. Thank you for your informing video.

1845 had a very large mintage, almost 4 million coins, as such it is a fairly plentifull date. Also there are major varieties for the date. So for it to be worth a lot it has to be basically a gem coin, or a proof. Thanx for watching
