I just want to say "thank you" to everyone who voted for Eunhyuk as Top 3 because I seriously do not understand why the whole kpop fandom neglect his capabilities as a rapper when all he's done his entire career is to write lyrics and rap to it. I know he doesn't fit the SMTM, YG, Underground Hongdae, KHipHop standards but the hell, he's one of the few people who raps with good rhyming, right on the beat, clarity (like I can really understand it) and he has explored so many rapping styles. they are both very different, though (voice, flow, technique). I personally love that one group has two different styles. It makes the rap way more interesting in their songs (also, I LOVE that both Mark and Taeyong writes their own raps). Comparing them seems a bit unfair tbh - especially because of the difference in their language proficiency: Taeyong is a lot better at rapping in Korean, no doubt. Mark converts to english often (and it goes without saying that he is better at rapping in english lol) - you especially noticed that when Mark participated in High School Rapper and Snowball Project; every time he has to freestyle, he does so mainly in english. He seems more comfortable in english. That being said, Mark is definitely improving - and honestly, he's the only SM rapper who I've seen freestyle on the spot on multiple occasions and do good.

While I certainly wouldn't put Chanyeol at number 1, I'd heavily argue against either member of NCT taking the top spots mainly because I don't believe they have nearly as many writing credits for rapping as Chanyeol does. Considering the fact that Chanyeol has been featured on lots of different songs for his rapping skills and writes a few of his raps I'd place him higher than any member of NCT.

Mark of nct writes his rap. Eunhyuk writes his rap, chanyeol writes his rap. Mark is the best rapper in SM. I love chanyeol, he is a good rapper but a way better composer/lyricist/produce who can sing well.
