@@timmasters1195idk man. He’s passed Armada in super majors and has significantly more majors. Played longer and during one of the most competitive eras of melee. Meanwhile Armada basically retired because Hungrybox was winning too much.

In the first clip we see mang0 edgeguarding/gimping zain 3 times in a row. Something we have seen cody do as well. But when cody does it, he uses the same rince and repeat edgeguards. When mango does it, he does a different mix everytime. Hes literally just outplaying zain over and over

If we're looking just at majors it's Fox: Zenith 2013, EVO 2013, MLG Anaheim 2014, Kings of Cali 4, EVO 2014, Press Start, Dreamhack Austin 2016, WTFox 2, Super Smash Con 2016, The Big House 6, Royal Flush, Mango's Birthday Bash, Smash Summit 11, Super Smash Con 2022. Falco: Revival of Melee, Revival of Melee 4, IMPULSE, Revival of Melee 7, Paragon LA, Super Smash Con 2017, GOML 2019, The Big House 9, Smash Summit 14, Mainstage 2022. Both: The Big House 4 (four games Fox, four games Falco), Lost Tech City (four games Fox, one game Falco). Overall, the Fox has been slightly more successful in Grands, but the Falco has absolutely put a lot of work in.

He additionally won the first set of Grands at GENESIS 3 and Battle of the Five Gods both with solo Fox, before ultimately losing the reset, also with solo Fox. And for what it's worth, Pound 3, GENESIS, and Pound 4 were all won with essentially solo Jigglypuff.

He may be the goat but is *definitely not* the greatest fox of all time. Both Leffen and Cody have foxes that have accomplished more. Leffen having the most impressive solo fox main peak (in 2016, could have been the first solo fox to be #1 if not for visa) and Cody being the most impressive fox to ever exist to date.

Okay but does Cody have a second character that's equally as tournament ready? I think it's pretty lame to negatively compare the character stats of a solo main player to a dual main player to be honest.

@@lil_mixdrink His purely solo fox wins were a long time ago, all his wins in modern era use falco for spacies and falcon. Like you could say Ken won more with Marth then Zain (idk if it’s actually true) but either way Zain is still the Marth goat for being the best Marth in the most competitive era. You can argue his fox could handle modern spacies and falcon but it’s theoretical since we don’t see it. And I highkey think Cody, Aklo and Moky would shit on his fox if he tried to ditto them. But we don’t know, and we do know Cody and Leff have brought solo fox to the top in modern era.

Mango is the only one to basically solo Fox to #1, he is the Fox goat but I understand people don't want to give him multiple characters. He has the best Fox ditto record when he does Fox ditto and beat both Leffen and Armada at it overall. He's still won more majors playing 95% Fox than IBDW and Leffen have overall. Leffen had to swap off of Fox just to beat Marth whereas both Mango and IBDW stuck it out and now do perfectly fine vs Zain (at least Mango does when he doesn't go Falco) Mango never had to swap off of Fox to win a matchup he just chose to (and honestly he'd probably be better as a Fox solo main as much as I love his Falco, Fox is just busted) IBDW has a 200x better argument to best Fox of all time than Leffen does similar to Jmook and Plup. IBDW and Jmook have accomplished almost more than those two in way less time at the top.
