Sorry I'm quite new to the game and was wondering what you mean when you keep saying BGA thanks
@FarmSimGamer3 жыл бұрын
@@IdealDevil Hi Matthew - no problem. The BGA is the Biogas Plant, where you can take silage - so fermented grass (and sometimes other things) to be used by the BGA in the Anaerobic Digesters. On most maps, you have to buy the land the BGA is on to be able to use it. Normally any income gets paid out at midnight, not straight away. So when you tip stuff in, you won't see any immediate income but it will appear when you go past midnight at the end of the day. Hope that helps. If you have any further questions, let me know. 👍

I have been to Hollandscheveld IRL last winter and it was nice to see that we actually found the farm it is based upon in the game, including the gas station across the street and some sort of dealership. The village is much larger in real life though. But it was nice to see it is not pure fictional. I played alot on that map, the only problem i have with it is that the trees near the roads are quite low and the tree branches really OP ;-) also the helpers tend to end up in the water sometimes. You can avoid it by adding a turn around erea at the end of the fields or do the outer edges yourself first before hiring a helper.

Good to know it is like the real place. I like playing on maps that are based on real locations. Are you PC or Console. If PC - have you tried using Courseplay? If not, just work the headland on the short edge at each end then off you go. Used to quirky UK fields where headlands always have to be worked before the land work!! Flat maps are the best for beginners. I'd also say No Man's Land is intermediate. It's pure sandbox and so it requires you to know what to fill it with. Without basic knowledge it would be difficult and upsetting. And extreme hills like Felsbrunn are a pure headache for a newbie. I'd say a perfect beginner's map is flat, has a good variety of field sizes like Ravenport and maybe has a clear ladder of jobs to try. Forestry-mowing-basic crops-advanced crops-animals. What scares a new player the most is this avalanche of tasks that need doing. Plowing, cultivating, fertilizing, seeding, double fertilizing, weeding, waiting, harvesting, windrowing, baling, transporting... Best to start with a car and a chainsaw, selling firewood. And since landscaping in FS is Dante's hell, I'd strongly recommend to stay away from hills until you know you want to suffer for fun and profit.

Flesburnn would be a great map if it had animal pens from the start the hilly landscape makes it rather hard to build animal pens

I used to have a 19 hour save on a map called Rustic Acres (now deleted since I got bored of it). It's mostly square, has no paved roads, and is a little boring, but the fields are good size and there are several places to store equipment all around the map. Can you find it and review it?
@FarmSimGamer3 жыл бұрын
Hi there - I have done a few episodes on Rustic Acres by Cazz 64. A great map and Cazz designed it in a way that you can merge a lot of the fields and shape them to your liking. It might look a bit boring to start with, but the idea is you cut down the trees, merge fields and create extended fields in the boundaries, to make more interesting. May go back and give it a go. Watch my last Rustic Acres video when I did something similar. 👍

Great Video 👍! I couldn’t find the trigger to remove all Hedges on Wyther Farms!
@FarmSimGamer3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Chris. Glad you liked it. Having messaged MissyB, I found out that she did not manage to figure out how to remove all the hedges with a single trigger in the end. She is still trying to work it out, but at the moment it is not possible. So there is no trigger at the moment. You can of course use a chainsaw and cut down the posts in the hedges, that will remove both the section of hedge and fence. Just a lot more time consuming to do if you need to remove a whole hedge in between two fields. Hedges are of course a very integral part of UK farming. In real life, it is actually illegal now to remove hedges under wildlife and conservation laws and farmers get paid subsidies to protect these natural barriers! 👍
@peerke78733 жыл бұрын
Nice video, can you tell me where i can find the trigger to remove the hedges on Wyther farms?
@FarmSimGamer3 жыл бұрын
Hi Peter. I don't think MissyB managed to figure out how to do that 'remove all hedges' trigger in the end. I read a post on her FB page that stated she was still trying to sort it out. I have sent her a message asking if she did get it sorted. When I hear back I will let you know. In the meantime, you can remove hedges by cutting down the fence posts (in the middle of the hedges) using a chainsaw. So you can remove them a bit at a time. Hope that helps.
@peerke78733 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much for the answer! Hope she can fix it, sould be possible with the help of AlienJim, he did sort of the same with tree's and rocks on Nomansland.
@FarmSimGamer3 жыл бұрын
@@peerke7873 Yes AJ did on NML and also he did full hedge removal and taking out hedge collisions on Sussex Farms. Hopefully he might give MissyB some assistance in doing so. Personally,I like the hedges and although I would like to take some out, I wouldn't want to remove them all, which is what the trigger will do. Hedges are very much a pat of UK farming and it is now illegal to remove them as they are considered a good natural habitat for birds, insects and other wildlife! There you go...a bit of real farming insight for you ! :-)
@FarmSimGamer3 жыл бұрын
@@peerke7873 Hi Peter - I had a note back from MissyB and she has not yet figured out a way to remove all hedges and fences in one go with a single trigger. So you will have to rely on a Chainsaw or you could use the Lizard Trex600 I think which can do a quick and easy job. Do you use the Lumberjack mod with the chainsaw - that is worth getting too.

@FarmSimGamer3 жыл бұрын
Are you on PC or Console? If PC, use Global Company and check the 'Place Anywhere' box in Settings. That should allow you to place a sleep trigger, i.e. door mat anywhere else on the map. It might say 'You cannot have more than one house', but you can still place it. Only slight downside is when loading up the game, you always start at the main farm house, but it's not such a big deal as easy to transfer to your own house. You can however, use the new sleep trigger to sleep overnight and you will still be there in the morning. If Console, then yes - a bit more restricted. I guess a slightly older map and hasn't been updated to accommodate this!

How do I find these maps on Xbox one? Thanks.
@FarmSimGamer3 жыл бұрын
Hi there. I play on PC, but I assume you have the same start-up screen for the game in Xbox One. On the start-up screen in the left hand navigation menu you should see 'MODS'. Click on that and it will bring up the full MODS menu. One section will be for 'Maps' (Normally top left side). Select that and then you can either scroll through to find the map you are looking for OR use the 'Search' function and type the name of the map to find it. Select the map you want, which takes you to a page for that particular map, then select 'Install'. Once done, you will probably have to reload the game. Once you have done that, select 'Career' from the 'start-up screen'. You can then start a new game-save and when prompted to select the map you want to play on, scroll through to the map you have just installed. The standard two in game maps are Ravensport and Felsbrunn - you should see the additional maps appear after them as you scroll through. Hope this helps, any problems, just reply and ask. Cheers.
