I only started collecting collected editions in 2019 so I have a huge backlog, so I rarely buy new releases. I think the only one I bought on day 1 is the UMX 5 omni.

My top eight (I didn’t get 10 this year) were in no particular order 1. Spider-man Vs. Venom Omnibus reprint 2. Aliens the Original Years omnibus vol. 4 3. Adam Warlock Omnibus 4. The Invincible Iron Man Omnibus Vol. 1 reprint 5. Moon Knight: Marc Spector Omnibus Vol. 1 6. Ultimate Spider-Man Omnibus Vol. 2 7. Ultimate Spider-Man Omnibus Vol. 3 8. Miles Morales Spider-man by Saladin Ahmed Omnibus Every step into comic collecting has been thanks to you Omar and your stellar overviews. I typically go in blind to series because I have no prior experience with any of these books. Thank you for another fine year of ruining my wallet.

@@T-M-N-T Hey, the Saladin Ahmed run is actually the 2018 series of Miles and third omnibus. The introduction of Miles Morales is by Bryan Micheal Bendis and can be found in “Miles Morales: Spider-Man Omnibus Vol 1”. You can start there then read Secret Wars (2015), then “Miles Morales Omnibus Vol 2”. Then you’re caught up to the current run.

Sensational thanks for sharing Omar I think one of your all time great videos was recently when the KZbin community paid you well deserved homage and each one named thier favorite picks - there were so many hobbyists I got so many great referrals I would love to witness an event like that again it’s seamless and perfect! My all favorite Wolverine story comes from the 140-ish? Uncanny X-Men one shot Native American mythos WENDIGO!!!!! nightmare story . It was 1980 hard core autumn rains and those lonely hopefully endless and remote Canadian wilderness woods and shadows made a permanent lasting imprint . Also- Nightcrawler reached full character potential back then I honestly don’t think he’s been used and written into story lines that bespeak the complexity empathy and ethical kindness this one of my all time favorite X-Men possesses , along with Colossus this was a true blue Russian during the height of the Cold War looking back the USSR I wish never ever fell apart and fractured those people are some of if not THE greatest contributors to Western Civilization! 💯👑💯👑

I think my favorite Wolverine issue is #10, the flashback Sabretooth one. Oh and great list, loved Marc Spector and can't heap enough praise on Black Cat, good to see that made it! I think for my pick that isn't on the list, I'd maybe go Thunderbolts (Jeff Parker) as I never thought they would ever do that one, so thanks to DG!

I don’t buy a ton of Marvel omnis, but I’m so glad USM keeps coming. Got volume three in 2023 and I’m really excited for volume four this year. I also ordered Death of Spider-Man reprint, but probably shouldn’t have since USM 5 will cover the same material 😅

Well I'm glad you're able to get them, don't worry too much about getting that omni, because they may not do a volume 5 we don't know yet. I'm mad because in 2021 I bought all the paperbacks of that series, because I was like "they'll never make this an Omni, it's been 20 years and nothing." 😂😂

I''m proud to say I own the Immortal Hulk omnibus. Didn't get around to read it yet, due to a busy end of the year. In fact, so busy I didn't had time to finish maybe my favoutire omnibus re(re)leased in 2022 that I ordered with it: Silver Surfer (by Dan Slott & the Allreds). Out of the rest of these released in 2023, I'm most interested in imoortal Iron Fist and Black Cat. I suppose I prefer my titles post 2000ish. Oh, and I already got Superior Spider-Man in two collected editions. Else, but I'm sorted.

Did you drop your Captain Marvel omni? The top corner on both the front and back look damaged. I'm actually finishing up this omni now, on the last 2 issues. You're not kidding about a tonal change. The first 35 issues were a lot of fun but then the 25 issues after that were very dark. The best comparison I can make is Walter White in Breaking Bad where you start to hate the character. A very intense back half of the book.
